COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our single hop India Pale Ale series continues with this ale brewed entirely with Summit hops, a dwarf variety with a distinctive "dank" flavor and grapefruit and citrus overtones. Served unfiltered to let the full flavor come through.

Nice medium sized offwhite head, retention is good as is the lacing. Hazy orange/copper hued ale. Juicey hop nose, grapefruit, faint pine and light malts. Body is medium, lightly resiny, chewy. Fairly dry malts backing up some citrusy dank hoppiness, nicely fruity and agressive, light earthyness, woody, juicey with a faint malt backing. Lingering finish. Nice brew!

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear reddish amber color with a medium sized offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big grapefruit and lemon hop notes. The taste is bit citrus, pineapple and mango hops with a resiny finish. Lingering bitterness. Decent, but could use a bit more balance.

A must try for all those liking the west coast hops. Loaded with grapefruit, mouth puckering, but yet a huge fruity malt bill makes this an explosion on the senses. I liked it a lot.

Barley Wine Tasting with Hophead22. Thanks to Gabe for sending this along. Poured a golden clear color, small head. Aroma was piney and sweet. Taste was very hoppy and not too bitter with a sweet mild finish. Medium pallet. Very good in between Barley Wines to clear the pallet a bit.

Stewart’s summit IPA was very good.It was a bitter beer with a medium texture and a wonderful citrus aroma. The taste was amazing and its only at stewarts on tap.

Thanks to GMCC2181 for hooking me up with #5000. Pours copper with a nice tan head. Smells of citrus, sage, some resiny hints, spicy. Tastes mildly bitter with resin, grapefruit, some metallic hints, some caramel on the finish. Earthy, peppery mouthfeel.

Nice color. Quite hoppy and bitter. Tasted the alcohol a little more than I expected. Citrusy. Average.
