Nice refreshing beer. 50/50 lager/lemon soda. The appearance is a nice golden yellow with a small head. Taste is lemony and a light beer. Great for drinking after mowing the lawn.

Looks very similar to champagne when poured. Aroma is a little awkward - smells a little sour and maybe a little stale. Flavor is pretty good but is too watered down. The lemon soda overpowers the beer, which is unfortunate. A good choice if you’re going to get behind the wheel, but that’s about all this one is good for.

On tap@ Bent Elbow - Pours a murky pale yellow. Lots of carbonation, short-lived small cap. Aroma is an unappealing cross between lemon pop and light beer. Flavor is uneventful and follows aroma profile. Clean, dry, tart....a thirst quencher for those who like thi kind of concoction, I’m just not one of them.

50% Beer 50% Lemon Soda. Interesting combination, that is a little more heavy on the lemon flavor than I like. Would be an OK choice for this style of beer on a nice hot summer day.

Very pale in colour. Lemon and malt in the aroma. Sweet and refreshing taste with lemon standing out.

Bottle. Clear pale gold pour with a whtie head. Awesome aroma of lemon-lime. Very sweet, but not cloying, Lighter body with good carbonation. I could drink a bunch of these - very tasty.

Picked up a single 500 ml bottle of Salzburger Stiegl Radler from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden pale colored brew with a decent sized white head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of pure lemon zest, a hint of golden grain malt and a touch of floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, lots of lemon gumdrop flavor on top of golden grain malt and a touch of vanilla. Finish is quite sweet with a more sugary lemon gumdrop aftertaste. More lemon soda flavor than the golden grain malt presence.

Nothing at all offensive, and taken for what it is, it’s fine. Easy summer quaffer, more pop than beer.

Lemon soda beer? Come on... it tastes like slightly watery sprite mixed with a little bit of beer. You’re not going to like this... unless you just happen to like it. It isn’t like it’s some high quality lambic or something.
