Draft at Bad Ragaz Hall Boyton Beach, FL. Pint. Golden amber with thick head. Good lace. Typical aroma for a German lager. Light malts, grain, cereal. Taste is mild with cereal, malts, light bitter hops. Dry finish. Good.

Bottle at Fiddler. Pours clear golden with an off white head. Aroma of light malt, hay, light hops, light wort and dough. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draught at red bull arena, Salzburg. Pours fizzy golden with lively head. Very brash and over carbonated. A good beer if you want a fight with your digestive system.

Bottle at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest, March 2013. Pours pale golden with white head and lace. Faint malty, typical lager aroma. Tastes fresh, bitter, german hops, lager taste but in a good way. Light body, short, hoppy finish.

Golden light bodied Pale Lager. Grainy malts and light bitterness. Quite drinkable, simple German beer. Stiegl in old returnable bottles have been turning up on the local Total Wine’s shelves. It’s hard for me to pass up adding a 500ml thick Euro bottle to the homebrewery.
