16oz throwback/retro can at Little Miss Whiskey’s on H St, DC. Pours fizzy yellow, temporary white head. Old candy nose. Taste is sticky old candies, old lemon drops. Old sugar. Bad.

faintest touch of mash whisky that was definitly more pronounced on the first sip than anytime later... still, retains a half decent aftertaste...

Golden in color, clear with a thin head. Some skunk in the aroma with a light hops addition. Very lifeless and light in malt. This was buttery with a light dry finish. Nothing special or too off on this brew.

Bottle at the Ukrainian American Civic Center in Buffalo, NY. Drank out of the bottle, not sure what it looks like. Very easy to drink, and not really that bad. My girlfriend enjoyed it. Crisp, clean, refreshing.

a decent golf course beer, nothing special, but a better drinker than BMC.

draft. Sweet honey malt on the nose with a slight sulphury aroma. Pours clear gold with a dense white head. Honey malts upfront with some grassy hops following, definitely malt forward. Light and refreshing on a hot day.

Test vom 26.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle. Clear golden yellow with a small head. Grassy with green apples. Watery thin and skunky.

I gotta say it was tough to figure out which Stiegl beer this was - all it said was "salzburger" and then in the fine print on the side of the can it had "GoldBräu", and so I’m here. It has a boring gold colour with a very modest head. The aroma is slightly unwashed armpits and leather, reminiscent of your bottom-shelf "let’s-get-drunk-because-I’m-16-and-live-in-V beers. Flavour is an awful mix of grass and cloying adjuncts to add alcohol and colour. This is macrobrew crap, and for the taste you might as well find one of those 10% monsters to make it worth your time, at least.

Bottle @ Wigrens, Vaxholm. Stable premium lager. Malt dominated. Almost no bitterness. Rather sweet. Notes of white bread.
