UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Bottled. A golden coloured lager with no head. The aroma is typical chemiaclly lagerish with a hint of butter. A touch sweet in the mouth but there are some noble hops. Pretty refreshing actually as served very cold. Score 2.4

Sampled in a 16.9oz bottle. Pours light yellow with a head that quickly dissipates. Overall a really crisp brew. Nice drink. Good malts.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2010 Bottle with dinner at the Dutch. Served in proper glassware! WOO-HOO! Moderate amber/gold...hard to tell in the dim lighting. I’m not complaining about the lighting mind you. Nose of cut hay. Malts dominate by a wee bit and are well balanced with the mellow hops. Some apple tone. A utilitarian brew that complimented my obligatory pulled pork sang-wich.

Draught. Pours clear deep golden yellow colour with medium dense head. Aromas of floral hops, with notes of grain/malts. Taste is dry with flavours of strong floral hops, with notes of malt and citrus. Medium bitter on the finish. A solid lager.

Mine’s a different, smaller bottle, green glass with no neck label, looks ancient and cool. Nose is malty, grassy, sweet, clean. Clear golden pour with very light carbonation and a short beige head. Taste is sweet and metallic, very sharp and lightly acidic, but not infected or skunked. Light body but not watery. Yup, sharp and attention-grabbing is right, just a touch of citrus squirted underneath the lightly floral pale malt - seems like it would gain some appreciation after a few bottles, if I could convince myself to finish that many.

Bottle. Pale yellow with minimal head, typical lager style. Flavor is surprisingly soft and mellow, hints of pale malts, even some floral notes within. Finishes with just a hint of German metallic hops. Smooth and easy drinking.

Pours a hay yellow with frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is a lot of earthy hay and bread with a sugary caramel undertone. Flavor is very barnyard, earthy hay. A lot of cereal/grain flavor with nut overtones. Body is creamy with fair carbonation.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours clear, golden in colour, big frothy white head. Mild aroma, clean sweet malt and slightly hoppy. Decent Euro lager!
