Draft. Pours a clear golden yellow. In the steigl glassware there is some really nice lacing for a lager. Smell and taste are leaps and bounds better than you know who. More of a crisp bite of hops and damn refreshing.

Ein mildes und im Mittelteil auch wässriges Bier. Man kann es durchaus gut trinken, aber ein Biergenuss ist es nicht. Passabel ja, aber nicht mehr. Test vom 27.3.2005, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,9,11,9,9,9 - 9,30

50 cl bottle courtesy of fata2683 - Pours a clear light golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is herbal hops and light grain. Very light spotty lacing. Flavor is sweet grain malt and light hops. Medium body. A little too sweet for my liking when it comes to Lager. A nice beer. Thanks Keith.

Great, powerful aroma of grassy hops. Decent hop character in the taste too and some earthy notes. Nice lager.

I’d take this over those big guys no one likes. Its got some flavor and some life. It’s refreshing and not to pricey. User friendly. Tastey overall. Nice pour. Nice carbonation. Lacks the special something that you get in something Gold Leader from FFF.

Pours a one finger white head that vanishes, leaving no lace. Crystal clear amber/yellow color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Grassy nose. Flavor is sweet grass and very smooth. Typical Euro lager. $1.95 for a 330ml green bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

500ml bottle. Yellow-orange, lively carbonation bubbles rise to the top to meet a foamy white head. Classic Euro Lager aroma, a little faded, some basement smells. Clean and straightforward, a standard light to medium bodied lager. Has some doughy tones that help separate from general mediocrity. Drinkable, refreshing, but not really an impressive example of the style.

This was a pretty nice premium lager that tasted very German. Nice taste and a good finish.

Poured from the bottle, the beer shows a deep golden yellow color topped by a nice foamy yet creamy white head. The aroma is a bit muted, but the clean, musty European hop character still comes through. The flavor is more pronounced, with an herbal, earthy hop combination, along with a bit of citric acidity, contrasting against the dry sweetness of the light malt base. The texture is rich and substantial, which feels a bit heavy, but it is satisfying.
