Ric, golden color with a white head. The aroma is a bit malty but not reminiscent of adjuncts. The taste is quite refreshing with some grassy bitterness anr the body remains light. This is better than I was expecting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Beer Hive, Edinburgh
Golden, clear, frothy white head, typical lager, green bottle but nor skunky
Aroma - Sweet pale lager malt, soft grain, very light spicy hop, not a lot on the nose
Taste as aroma - soft spicy lager hop, pale sweet malts, slight caramel - touch more pale malt than usual in a lager, light flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body. Finish as main flavour, slightly dry, cleans off palate
Overall - Light flavours and aroma, but no off notes or metal which is good. My first Austrian beer rate too! Not a bad lager

An average beer at best. Horrible taste and aftertaste. The grapefruit one is far better

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours clear golden withbsmall white head. Intense aroma of yeast and grain with notes of hops. Sweetish, yeasty flavour with touches of malt and hops. Rough, malty aftertaste. A middle-of-the-road Premium Lager but just this. Drinkable and not bad as such, just anonymous.

500ml can that says Salzburger Stiegl Beer
$2.29 from "Lifesource" in Salem.
poured into my Freiburger pils glass..its clear light golden, with a large bubbly white head.
Aroma is typical pale lager..slight breadiness, some paper a little grassy hop.
Flavour is mainly smooth lightly salted caramel malts..touch of hop in the end.
The palate on this is a bit more substantial than the usual premium lager..quite nice.
Overall a nice enough light lager.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Ontap at Siegi’s in Tulsa.
A - Pours a clear golden body, with a stark white head provides excellent lacing and tight spiderweb lacing patterns.
S - Clean grain, very yeasty, lightly sweet and fruity with a touch of grassy hops.
T - Grainy malt, lager yeast, honey, nice and fruity, earthy noble hops provide a clean bitterness. The finish is crisp and clean with a fruity aftertaste.
M - Thicker body, medium carbonation, very smooth with a crisp finish.
I’m reviewing this as a Helles Lager. Not sure why this is under the Oktoberfest style on here. Very bright and traditional flavors with incredible balance. I could have easily had 2 liters of this stuff.
