Mozart bottle with the craziest little pull tab top I have ever seen...pour is golden yellow with a thin skin o f a white head...as soon as I opened the bottle, it smelled like someone ran over a skunk in my kitchen...once that subsided, grass, grains, and general sweetness was the remainder of the nose...taste is overly sweet and grainy...blech.

Aroma: bread, cereal, citrus, grass, earthy, woody. Appearance pale, golden, clear with a minimal head and very little white foam. Slightly sour, bitter taste. Light body, thin texture. Average carbonation. Bitter finish.

The aroma has cereal malt and grassy hops and not a bit of skunk. The appearance is bright gold with a thin head. The taste is sweet and malty with a high quality grain and just the right amount of hops to balance. The palate is thin but ok for the style. I would have to say this is one of the better lager out there.

Bottle. Pours a straw color with very little white head. The taste is like the aroma, which wasn’t all that impressive, i.e., slightly hoppy and little to no bitterness. It felt like water in the mouth. Overall, it had very little taste and was not too memorable of a beer.

Bottle. Golden straw beer with a nice whitish head. Earthy, malty aroma with slight citrus. Citrus flavor with grass and light malt.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2006 Pours light to medium gold, malts, some bread and hops in the nose, reminded me of a czech beer, taste is malts, dry on the finish and a faint metal or harsh taste (from the water?)

Downs smoothly and softly but has a bite in the back of the tongue. Taste is hearty and filling with a nice, calm aroma.

Light gold. Big, lofty white head. Chewy-earthy malts. Strong sweetness (honey and sugary malts). Mild bitterness didn’t keep up. OK, but a little off and unbalanced in some respects.

0.5 L bottle, ’bbe’ Jan 07. Clear golden, very sparkling; abundant white froth. Nose of yeast, reminiscent of fresh bread, followed by hops. Hops prevail in the taste. Rich and juicy palate.

Good when fresh, hopped enough, abit bready, easy drinking, still a boring beer, but when wanting a simple lager, its fine, drinkable.
