UPDATED: MAR 22, 2008 500 mL can. Has that standard German/Austrian pilsener/lager aroma, but I wasn’t too enthralled with it here for some reason. Pours golden, decent head but it disappeared. I was a little confused by the apple juice-like taste to this... sweet and a little malty, very mild overall. Thin and smooth going down. Overall I was pretty disappointed in this. And I was so excited to try the Nazi beer :(

Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 17 oz bottle (odd size). Medium golden, glinty pour, nice soft white head, good bubble action. Yeasty aroma, hints of fresh lake water, mown grass. Flavor has some hints of honey sweetness, yellow cake mix. Some saaz hoppiness sneaks in the back end to add a bit of balance. Crisp mouthfeel. Quality lager.

Pale golden pour with a small white head. Sweetish, but better balanced than most of the brewery’s offerings. Concentrated cerealic, sweet flavours. Fair carbonation. Okay lager. No DMS, thin bodied, but mostly clean.

Medium towards deep gold, clear, decent head fades slowly. Aroma is bready, a bit of honey, and some grass. Flavor is honey bread, with a grassy hop bitter finish. Faint character of skunk, but really not bad overall.

Bottle... Clear yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Clover honey nose. The flavor leans just a hair on the sweet side of balance with notes of honey, toffee, cookie and sorghum. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Short, crisp finish.

500ml can. Straw colored beer with grassy aroma. Refreshing but taste is typicaly wheat tasting beers from this region in Europe.
