Delicious, full-bodied Salzburg beer specialty.

Stiegl Goldbräu boasts an unrivalled, well rounded, balanced and wonderfully thirst-quenching flavour. Mildly hopped with a typical refreshing beer bouquet, golden colour, a magnificent fine head and pleasant aftertaste, Stiegl Goldbräu is the enjoyment of beer at the highest level. 12°

Bottle (330ml). A clear bright yellow beer with a small white head. Nose and taste is sweet grainy malts with a mild hop bitterness. Light-medium bodied with a grainy texture and medium carbonation. Easy to drink but it is too sweet to really satisfy.

Bottle from Total Wine and More. Pours golden yellow, slight head, no retention or lacing. Aroma is pretty basic - malt and hops. Brewed under the German purity laws, there isn’t much here. Body is watery and fizzy. Flavor is also watery, malty, Finishes a bit dry, easy to drink (mostly watery) and nothing special. I guess if we have our Bud here, they can have their Stiegl there in Austria (best selling beer).

Bottle. Poured a light yellow color no head. Thin watery body that smelled like corn, grass and malts. Flavor was like a pale lager. Nothing really there. Not a beer I’ll be drinking again any time soon.

Bottle with some work people. Pours a clear pale straw yellow with a medium to thick white head. Corn, grain, and a faint citrus hop. Thin, watery, grainy, no surprises here. Dry crisp grainy finish. Mediocre, boring. Typical lawnmower beer.

0,5l bottle and can also. A big disappointment after the Stiegl Pils. Unpleasant aroma, weak body, watery texture, very pale malty flavour. It inflates me and make me burping. As time passes by it lost a lot from its consistence. Mass product.

Bottled. Clear yellow color, medium frothy head. Aroma is grainy, hint of citrus. Dryish grainy taste, bit bitter. Typical lager. Quite refreshing though.

A golden colour with a small white head. Malty and grassy aroma. Taste is malty with quite a bit of sweetness, but also has a somewhat metallic taste in the palate. Light-medium bodied. Average.

Oh s..t this is really awful. Watery, bland, skunk piss. Tip out bleagh. Like Birell with alcohol.

Bright yellow, almost greenish tint, bright white head with good retention. Honey malt nose with a bit of grassiness. Light in the mouth, drier than I was expecting, finishes clean. Clean is the right word, otherwise not enough going on here to care about.
