Stiegl Goldbrau has a thick, fluffy, white head, a hazy, golden, bubbly appearance, filled with tiny white sediment specks, and a thick, white lacing sheen left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, pungent, full barley malt, and the taste is of sweet, bready, biscuity barley malt, with a pleasant hop bitterness at the sip’s end. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Stiegl Goldbrau finishes semi-dry, sweet, mild, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is a great beer, and I highly recommend it! RJT

A little skunked but let the beer breathe a bit then settled on an aroma of slight malt with a little hop perfume. Palate was thin and a bit watery ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold color with average white head. It was too sweet for my taste. Sweetness does subside a little as you consume the beer, but first taste was pretty awful. It has somewhat creamy texture which is pleasant. Pretty smooth finish with no harsh after taste to follow. Not too thin or thick as far as texture goes.

Can. Pale yellow body with a pretty good white head. Fruity, lightly floral aroma, with some grain and corn notes. Flavour is grain and corn with a touch of overripe fruit. Fuller mouthfeel and more flavour than expected, but it just doesn't taste very good.

Pours a completely clear golden color. Decent white head settles down soon, but not too quick. A mild malty and grainy aroma is easily picked up. There is a grainy and malty taste, not sweet, not watery. Some bitterness in the end. Although it may not be extra special, I like it.

On draft. Pours yellow with a fluffy white head. Not much aroma to speak of. A simple, but flavorful lager that finishes very crisp and clean.
