4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2010 Tap at maproom. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a big soapy white head. A beautiful beer. Aroma of fresh cut grass, hay, cooked vegtables, and wheat. Flavor is doughy lemon, fruity earth., brigjht carbonation. Well crafted. Flavors flow and mold together nicely. Liked this quite a bit. Liked it so much, in fact, that I ignored them at the bar for 23 minutes because I couldn’t wait to post this. And they’re the reason I came here! The irony makes my weiner hard -- or is it this awesome ass beer?!

Huge pour at the Map Room. Great, unfiltered pour, Doughy aroma, with a pure yeast essence, fresh bread. Lovely. Thick body, full, raw grains, pale malts. A sheer pleasure to drink. The world needs more like these. You could drink this for lunch.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head...decent lacing. The aroma is mostly the standard German pils-lager malt, with faint Saaz hops. The flavor is similar, with a bit of citrus added. Nothing amazing but very drinkable and refreshing.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a nice and long-lasting frothy head. A very light aroma and is actually quite neutral with only slight notes of citrus fruits and some yeast . Fresh taste of fruits with some sweetness. Hardly any bitterness at all. Very soft and clean mouth-feel. Medium bodied. Interesting and easy to drink but nothing too exciting.

Tap in the rake. Alround rating: Pale biscuity malt, some light buttery character, really fruity off the yeast which although fairly cloudy manages to stay clean, the hops are nicely balanced and alround its a very plesant drink.
