2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 shendrix (478) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 14, 2008
There’s nothing wrong with this beer, but nothing much right either. I had it bottled in Vienna, and it went ok with my chicken, but not much esle can be said for it. A bit thin, malty and a touch of hops...nothing to write home about.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ethereal (2355) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2008
On tap at the Magpie & Crown, Brentford. Bright gold with a white head and a malty aroma. Firm palate and flavoursome, rich & malty. Decent pilsner.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dunkpigen (379) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2008
Pours pale golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of butter and hay. Nice mouthfeel, but there is to much butter in the flavour - som hops and citric notes.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 thewolf (8241) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2008
Tap @ the Hundertwasser café, Vienna.
Pours clear, lightly pale golden with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma has lots of butterscotch and a slight herbal hoppiness. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is not too good, butter again and very citric. Short malty finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 patricks110 (813) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2008
Overall, not bad. Pale brown lager with a medium white head. Found it a bit flat and slightly overcarbonated. Malts are tastable, but not a major part of the beers flavour. Most of the taste comes from hints of grass, flowers, and a bit of skunky grain. Overall, this is a pretty good beer which is easy to drink.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 weaselkenievil (1089) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2008
Bottle. Pale lager type appearance with a head flatter than a witches tit. Dark malts, dry and hoppy. Not that outstanding in any way.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DTM (590) - Winters, California, USA - JUL 1, 2008
Bottle from World Market in Davis, CA. Pours a pale golden color with a white head that disappered almost immediately. Grassy and grainy to the nose. Tasted of bitter hops that were a little rough on the palate. Not good unless you love the style.
