A good quality beer from Austia. Travels well and is as good here as I recall wile in Europe. Not quite the bite at the end other Pils from the area have.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 changeup45 (1314) - Mount Dora, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2008
A pale looking golden color that pours a thickish head that evaporates to a thin film quickly. A little bit of lacing that is more spotty than anything else. Aroma is quite grassy or haylike with a maltiness to it. It’s not at all subtle but I can’t really say I liked it either. There is somewhat of a sharp malt flavor, grassy notes with a touch of spicy hops which is nice. Finishes crisp with a fuller mouthfeel than expected. Anytime I see the words "malt liquor" on a bottle I get flashbacks but overall this beer is decent albeit a bit middle of the road. I probably won’t get it again as I can think of three Pilseners I’ve had in the past month that are far superior (North Coast Scrimshaw, Stoudts and Lagunitas).

Beautiful golden color, with a long-lasting white foamy head. Nice aroma and a nice light malt flavor. Not a great beer but drinkable.

Great Austrian beer, great color, good head, the body seems just right, and the carbonation is nice too. I can (and did) have a few of these.

Draft. Clear gold, light head. Forgettable aroma with standard pils taste. Bog standard.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 KimJohansen (10337) - Copenhagen V, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2008
Clear golden with tiny short lasting head. Sweet aroma with grassy and fruity notes. Flavor is grassy and grainy with cardboard, fruit and hoppy notes. Ends with discrete bitternes.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - MAR 14, 2008
This is a nice, dry pilsner with a clearly dominant hop character. It is gold with a pretty big, lasting white head that slowly shrinks and elaves a little weak lace. The aroma has a lot of grain, crackers, flowers, pine, cyprus, honey, and hints of sulphur and orange. The taste on theother hand, has only light (but clearly noticeable) grain taste and is thoroughly dominated by lots of herbal, piney, grassy hop flavour which makes the toungue tingle and leaves a crisp, persistent bitterness from start to finish. Despite the clear dominance of the hops and lack of malty sweetness, it is not actually too bitter, though, and it’s very nice.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 altonbrownd (3419) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2008
On tap in Gerlos, Austria. Golden colour, big head and corny nose. Grainy. Easy to drink. Not much flavour to it, some hops. Okay.
