2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JLAudio (282) - Crestwood, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2007
Have to say this is a normal pilsener. Not different in any way. It is refreshing, to a certain degree, and is very drinkable, well made, and slightly crisp.

Canned. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is brady and slightly rubbery with malt coming in. Flavour is Saaz and some quite sweet malts. A straight-on brew, but not very special.

Do pilseners have aromas?
This is hands down my favorite pilsener. Sure there are many close seconds, but this is the standard by which I judge all others. Unfortunately it was only imported by the Glunz family in Chicago. Now that I am in AZ, I cannot drink this anymore.
However, my first stop whenever I am back in CHI is to the Glunz Bavarian Haus for a couple liters of my golden goddess!
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 anders37 (9280) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 30, 2007
Can. Pours a clear golden color with a longlasting white head. Fruity malty aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Sweet malty slightly grassy flavor with some fruity hints. Sweetish malty finish with some fruity grassy finish. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 DerWeg (1251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2007
Tap at BeerBistro, with the French Onion Soup (yummy, sticky real cheese on it.) Very good malty lager with a lieblich aftertaste that lingers and tingles with some well attenuated hops. Typical soft lager aroma and the flavor profile is gentle rather than gratingly assertive. I really liked this for a ’macro’ because it is authentic beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 VeloVampire (616) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2007
On tap at Ciro’s - came a darker shade of gold than a typical pils, with a two-finger white cap. Nice aroma, bready, sweet, some herbal quality from the Saaz. Light fruity flavours, along with some honest grain, a nice grassiness and a slightly metallic quality. Good body. Pretty decent beer, a cut above many of the European lagers that are available in this neck of the woods.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 PorterPounder (3944) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 23, 2007
Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 17 oz bottle (odd size). Light golden, straw colored pour with puffy but thin white head that settles quickly. Fresh aroma with a saazy hop bent, some fresh lake water, a hint of spearmint. Flavor is crisp with some sweet biscuity notes, a hint of butter, saaz hop bite in the back end. Clean, even mouthfeel, quite refreshing. Seems to be a solid brewer.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 StefanSD (1541) - Lakeside, California, USA - SEP 16, 2007
500 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours translucent yellow gold with a small white head that fades quickly. Aroma is distinct with saaz hops. Flavor is light with sweet malts and just a tiny bit of the hops that were promised in the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium-light with weak carbonation. Finish is short and features a sweet metallic aftertaste with the biter hops making a late showing. Overall this is a fairly weak beer, I am very disappointed.
