Bottle. Grassy and hoppy aroma. The taste is crisp and clean. Some metallic taste in there, along with a slight bit of hops and a bit of a bad aftertaste. The aroma isn’t as "smelly" as some are saying with this bottle. Overall pretty solid for a Pilsner, crisp and light enough to be a session beer. 4.9% abv.

33cl bottle from some grocery store in Salzburg. Pours a crystal clear, straw-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is grainy, lightly sweetened pils malts with some grass, a light DMS note, and a few fruity hints. Flavor is better. Grassy throughout with a lightly sweetened and grainy pils malt backing. Touches of fruit towards the end before this finishes clean and dry with a decent bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light, crisp body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent pils. Fairly bitter and clean with a nice hopping. Not bad.

Drought. Pale yellow with small foamy white head, slight citrus aroma, fizzy, lemon peel bitterness perceived towards the end. Nice lager.

Pours bright golden with one finger-head. There seemed to be a lot of carbonation in the bottle. Aroma has cereal and hay-like maltiness, a little bit of sweetness also and clove. Taste is very pure (as aroma), there is sweet breadiness, hayfield and cereal, sweetness came stronger in the aftertaste. Palate was well carbonated and suprisingly full. Pure and flawless pils, but unsurpsising, sweetness was highlighted in the aftertaste.

Smooth, light bitter finish. Biggest beer in Austria for some reason, probably because it is so light. The other Stiegls were better.

December 2010. Bottle. Aromas of straw, malt and hops. Pale yellow with a white head. Good balance and a light hoppy finish.

Tap: pale, clear yellow pour with then white head. Aromas of grass, bisquit, hay, honey and a bit of grain. Flavor is sweet with honey, dusty with bisquit and hay, and a little tartness comes in with the grass and grain. For me this beer was an excellent pilsner... Flavorful, easy to drink, and surprising.

Bottle at home, this rating is more for my own list I have had this beer earlier this year before i started taking notes. What I remember: i liked it, wasn’t very special but drinkable.

Bright yellow frothy fast dissipation..Aroma of wheat and honey grapes. Tastes watery mostly just wheat and some herbal hops. Light carbonation. I think I would taste more with more carbonation.
