Very clear golden yellow with rocky white head. Smells like wet grains and some light spicy hops. Flavor is better than aroma but similar - the hops are more apparent. Mouthfeel is nice and light. Very quaffable.

Stiegl-Pils has a thick, foamy, almost permanent, white head, a mostly clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance, and very heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, biscuit, barley malt and grassy hops. The flavor is the same, with a nice, sharp, but not harsh, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Stiegl-Pils finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and highly drinkable. RJT

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is malt, grass with some hops. Taste is light sweet leading to a nicely balanced bitter finish. Great example of a pils.

My first beer of the day at Green Week in Berlin on 18th Jan 2014. Draught half litre shared with my wife, served by a guy in national dress and inside a wooden beer garden type of set-up within the Austrian area of the festival. Regular looking lager/pils golden, bright and clean: standard white head which lasted longer than most beers of this type. No great aroma or taste, refreshing and crisp enough but nothing stands out or separates this from the thousands of other lagers/pils in the world. Mr average in all aspects.

Pour on tap, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, hints of grass, slight earth into a touch of vanilla, honey in there. Taste is a mix of bread, biscuit, some honey and vanilla, slight earth into grass, finishing fairly dry, slightly sweet.

the beer headed well. The malt profile and hops character were on point for the style.................
