3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dreamflower (352) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
Can shared with norhtropfrye. Sunshiny appearance, fluffy head that doesn’t last long, opaque. Tastes very grapefruity with a zippy palate. This is exactly the kind of thing I like.

Not really much like a beer, but it does taste good in a superficial kind of way. Quite attractive yellow body with white head. Aroma and taste of grapefruit. Not bad.

Bottle. Poured hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that lasted with fair lacing. Medium body with a sticky texture with soft carbonation. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Moderate sour & sweet flavor with a moderate sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. Refreshing beer.

Draft at Sybarite Pig. Light yellow hazy pour. Thick fluffy white head. Looks like a fresh lemonade. Aroma of lemons and grapefruit. Slight yeast taste. Very refreshing on this hot day and for a pig roast. Low abv at 2.5%. Could throw a little vodka in there...

Pours a very pretty dull cloudy yellow.looks like a mimosa. Decent grapefruit and citrus aromas. Promising bitter grapefruit flavour at the start with s nice sweet balance but it fades to a watery finish rather quickly. Not bad.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jeremyh70 (358) - Missouri, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Pours a hazy light yellow with a bare minimum of fizzy head and lacing. Nose is all grapefruit with maybe a hint of pilsner malt. Taste is dominated by ruby red grapefruit with a slight tartness. Some citrus sweetness and underlying malt character, but not much. Mouthfeel and body are light with high fizzy carbonation. Pleasant enough drink on a hot summer day but not satisfying if you want a beer.

Pours almost clear gold color with no head. Aroma is fruit juice--mostly orange. Taste is sweet but not overwhelmingly so. Very bubbly. I get just a hint of yeast which is the only thing that even suggests this drink is beer-related. Very refreshing. Not really a beer in my book, but delicious for what it is-- a very slightly alcoholic fruit soda. Yum!

From a can in Salzburg. Citrus grapefruit aroma and flavor, complimented by sweet wheat. Great for a warm afternoon. Good palate, and entirely enjoyable.

11.2oz bottle, shared by Jay. Mildly hazy whitish yellow color. Thin white head, little loose lace. First impression: I like this way, way better than the lemon version. Grapefruit soda is much more interesting than lemon soda, it turns out. Less sweet overall, too. More of a tart taste, lightly zesty. Nice grapefruit and sugar aroma. Light to medium body. Crisp, lighter carbonation. Just a very light stickiness in the finish, I don’t mind it at all. Liked this way more than I expected to, especially considering how much I didn’t care for the lemon.

August 2012. Bottle. Citrus aromas are dominant. Carbonation is about as high as a soda. Clear yellow with a pinkish hue. Tart and refreshing. I like this one better than the lemon version.
