Great beer to sit on the porch with after doing yardwork. Fantastic mix with the grapefruit sofa. This might not be for everyone but definitely worth a try over the lemon shandys out there. The cyclists in germany knew what they were doing when they came up with this one ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 mL can. More yellow than the orange or pink I expected. Not really much to say, except that I liked the Schöfferhofer version better, perhaps because the hefe serves as a better base. Still refreshing, though, but then I really like grapefruit.

This is a very easy to drink fruit beer. It has distinct grapefruit smell and sweet grapefruit flavor w/slight yeast. Tastes very much like a grapefruit soda or lime-a-rita. Slight syrupy. No head with cloudy yellow color. 5.3 BD, 5 JD- its not a beer it’s like a cocktail.

Sample from a can. I really like grapefruit so naturally I dug this one. Not too "beery" but a refreshing brew.

12oz bottle shared. poured hazy yellow color with no head to speak of. the aroma is grapefruit and some mild bready malt.. the flavor is light grapefruit and malt and carbonation...not great but not bad. pretty good for a hot summer day though.

500 ml can from the lcbo. Pours like carbonated grapefruit juice. Nose of grapefruit juice. Flavour of grapefruit juice and pale lager. Really well done. Highly drinkable.

On draught at apex - cloudy lemonade color, nose of grapefruit and sweet citrus. Taste of grapefruit juice with nice carbonation. Very smooth and easy drink for the summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s like drinking San Pelligrino. If you like San Pelligrino, as I do, you’ll like this. There’s a subtle hint of malt in the finish that reminds you that you’re almost sort of drinking beer but not really. It’s hazy and fizzy like a good lemonade, and the sweetness is definitely in check. I would recommend this as a summer drink. 473mL can from the Lickbo.

Lemon and grapefruit nose. Milky yellow, no head. Lemony soda flavor. A light malty finish is the sole indicator of the presence of beer.

Single can from the LCBO. Pours a lemonade-looking style, but with a little white bubble head, average retention and minimal lace. Beautiful fresh citrus aromas with the grapefruits in the forefront. You can feel the natural zest. The taste is a little more on the sweet side, but not like a cooler, with the nice balance of mild sourness. 50% beer, 50% grapefruit juice... this is quite refreshing and really good because there is not sugar added. Just the natural sweet from the two goodness together. Could have many of these on a warm summer night.
