330ml green bottle. Pale yellow colour, hazy, no head. Grapefruity nose, bit of sweetness. Flavour of grapefruit soda, sweet up front, some tartness in the finish. Lemony and grapefruity aftertaste. Light body, high carbonation. Refreshing, better than expected.

Bottle. It was 37 degrees in Medicine Hat today. This was chosen to share with my wife over salmon dinner on our sweltering deck. Aaahhhh, summer... finally! Anyhoo, on with the rating. Hazy blonde, poorly retaining head. My wife thought it smelled like grapefruit hand soap. I’d have to agree. Sweet grapefruit cocktail flavour with a certain husky grainy flavour that is barely detectable once your palate recalibrates to the sugar load. I only enjoyed this because of the weather-- otherwise too sweet for my liking. I’m learning that radler styles just don’t do it for me.

Hazy amber/pink pour, small white head. Aroma of artificial grapefruit. Very very sweet, and the aspertame is gross. This might have been decent if it wasnt for the bloody aspertame. Yuck.

On tap in the skinny stiegl glass. Aroma is mostly the grapefruit and the taste is similar. Not overly complex and not a lot of grain or hop presence. Very straightforward and very good fruit beer. I would have again.
