Real grapefruit flavour, on tap and served in a skinny glass. Carbonation right there. Reminded me of orangina, graperuit edition - yes there was such a thing. Grapefruit aroma. Some lace and head. Significant aspartame in this "soft drink" cuts calories cut also taste. Little in way of a beer, BTW.

As a Radler, refresher or palate cleanser very nice. ALmost no beer qualities though. Served on tap in a skinny glass. Big grapefruit aroma and taste. A great start to bruch or a refresher on a hot day.

50 cl can in Bregenz.. Poured hazy yellow in colour with white head. Grapefruit in aroma. Mostly grapefruit in flavour as well. Medium carbonated.

500ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a very thin off-white head. Carbonated like a soda. Of all the "Radlers" Iíve had, this is without doubt the most palatable. Smells very good, like grapefruit soda, and Orangina. By scent alone, itís very difficult to recognize as a beer. Taste is sweet grapefruit, followed by a watery maltiness, with a nice bitter finish. I donít drink sodaís because theyíre much too sweet, but the 50/50 beer to soda ratio here is a nice change. Really easy drinking, and while I understand itís technically not a beer, it is a tasty product that I would definitely buy again. Thumbs up.

Keg at Euston Tap. Pours hazy yellow with a white film. Sweet, tart grapefruit aroma. Medium sweet flavor with some grapefruit and rind, along with distinct dishwasher detergent. Light bodied with high carbonation. Bitter rind finish with some citrusy sugar. Not that bad.

On tap at the Draft House, Tower Bridge on 4 December 2010. Another of the Austrian beers that this place seems to make something of a speciality in. Lots of grapefruit. Sweet. The tartness of the grapefruit helps to counterbalance the sweetness. Quite refreshing. Of course itís a bit of a confection but better than I expected. Maybe that impression was enhanced by being a passable palate-cleanser after the pretty dire Schremser Naturpark.

Draft sample to taste just because. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. The grapefruit is the overwhelming aroma on the nose, was hoping it would be less sweet but it wasnít; exact same taste, thin bodied, very sweet with a hint of tartness but not very well balanced. If it wasnít so artificial and sweet it might be ok for a summer beer but I think this is more for people who prefer spritzers or wine coolers.

Draught sample at CRFA Show 2011. Light golden-yellow with a faint haze and a small white head. Aroma and flavour of grapefruit soda - somewhere between Ting and Fresca - with enough hints of sweet malt and herbal hops to remind you that thereís a beer in there somewhere. The grapefruit flavour is a bit artificial, but itís still very pleasant and refreshing. I could easily drink a couple of cold pints of this on a warm patio, which is exactly what this type of beer is meant for - and my score was given with that in mind.

23/01 0.5 l bottle from a Merkur store in Graz. It poured hazy pale yellow body with small head. Sweet, with artificial lemony aroma. May be grapefruit also, itís so fake I canít tell. Similar flavor, slightly bitter is revealing the grapefruit, no beer characteristics has been felt. Another "more like a sprite" radler. Not really good, not awful, but too artificial

Bottle from somewhere in Graz, shared with heavy.
Poured a murky yellow body with a small white head that went away fast. Nice grapefruity nose, somewhat sweet and lemony. Sweet, sugary grapefruit taste, no beer notes, but in the end not too bad and pleasant for what it is.
