Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a transient white head. Very true to the fruit aroma. Nice body. Flavor starts nicely fruity, definitely grapefruit, but the finish is a bit of a wheaty letdown. Fun drink.

Ok, it is a 3 when out late at night hitting a bar. But it is a 4 when mowing the lawn in July. Pours a gery pale hazy yellow with a short lived white head. The aroma is grapefruit. The flaor is more grapefruit than beer. Not something I will buy until the summer, but then I am sure a 6 pack will make it to my fridge.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with light head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of grapefruit and lemon. Flavors of grapefruit, lemonade, and resin. Soda water carbonation. Quite refreshing, but really just a light cooler.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with white head. White head that is more like a soda foam. Smells strongly of grapefruit. Sweet flavor up front with a lemon/grapefruit finish. Not too bad for a fruit beer.

Bottle. Moderate grain and herbs for the malt and hops, with big notes of grapefruit in the background. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is hazy light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and light acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. This is a tradition in Germany (if not a fairly new thing) that I’m not a big fan of. The German girlfriend loved it, to me it’s just drinkable.

Yum. For a beer soda mix this kills any American shandy style i’ve ever encountered. Good breakfast drink.

11.2oz bottle poured into a smaller Corsendonk goblet glass. I have wanting to buy this for a while because I am a sucker for citrus flavored beverages and foods. The pour is a really cloudy whitish-yellow with a small white head. The aroma is bright fresh tart grapefruit juice, doubt I could tell its beer if I were blind. The taste is a tart citrus grapefruit and sweet grapefruit juice and then a low key clean and simple beer. Man, I am a sucker for grapefruit and this just has a little bit of alcohol and a small beer base. I think I just want to drink this instead of soda/juice but necessarily as a beer.

Authentic Grapefruit smell, very refreshing on a summer day, on a cold -20 Celsius winter day, doesn’t have the same effect.

cloudy pale gold colur with thin white head. Comical grapefruit aroma. Its a grapefruit radler what do you expect. Its quite refreshing and quite tasty. Grapefruit is pretty authentic. Be pretty good on a hot day
