Can. Very hazy yellow pour, minimal carbonation and an aroma of vibrant fresh grapefruit. Flavor is like that of a Squirt(tm) soda, citrusy, fizzy and sweet and very sugary tart on the finish. Very enjoyable low alcohol brew.

Amusing pour is squeezed fruit with nary a cap to be found. Aroma of grapefruit pop. Shawna spies me sipping on a grapefruit beer & hijacks the review process. Whereas I find the whole thing kind of funny, she now thinks there’s a beer she can finally tolerate. Which may be the key here. A cider alternative perhaps. Can’t deny this is refreshing & has a enjoyable briskness to it. You’ll need to drink one of these every 9 minutes -- or drop a shot in it -- if you need to get a buzz on.

I had this at Global Brew. It smells of citrus, very light citrus taste. Pretty good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A refreshing grapefruit beer. Way better than the original stiegel beer. Ha a nice bitter fruity finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Cloudy yellow body with a frothy, white head. Lots of grapefruit, lime and citrus in the aroma and not much more. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Bottom line: Expensive fruit juice. But it’s inoffensive and thirst quenching. At 2.5%, you can drink a lot of it.

A cloudy, lemonade-yellow pour with a small, white head. The aroma has a clean grapefruit and lime scent. It has a light, juicy texture with average carbonation. The taste is mildly tart, yet somewhat sweet and refreshing. This is nice summer drink.

Bottle pour. Pours a very hazy, bright yellow with little to no white head. Aroma had a lot of lemony, grapefruit juice going on. Taste is big grapefruit juice and just a hint at some yeast notes in the finish. Very refreshing.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a hazy yellow-orange colour with a fast-fading white head. The aroma is pretty much solid grapefruit - it also has the authentic sharpness of grapefruit (in contrast to sodas like Fresca that purport to be grapefruit). I swore I’d never enjoy a Radler, but dammit, I kind of like this. It’s a whole lot more grapefruit than it is beer - but it’s tasty enough.

Taster glass. I think we may want to separate true Radlers from fruit beers, as a finished beer with juice or soda added before packaging is a different animal than one fermented with fruit. For one, this is intended to be low-alcohol, and for two, it’s not fair to be comparing this to a DFH Fort. That said, this is pretty tasty. Does not hide the fact that it’s light in alcohol, though probably the grapefruit adds some sugar calories. In fact, it does have a bit of an added sugar taste that might have been meant to keep the grapefruit from souring up the works. Not a world-beater, but recommended if I were ever actually "on the go."

Half liter can from Beer Run. Pours a murky yellow color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma is pure grapefruit. The taste is nearly pure grapefruit but with a barely detectable bit of malt and a crispness I assume is from the beer. Thin bodied. This doesn’t come across as candy or artificial, so as a soda its quite nice.
