Once I opened the can(this version is 2% alcohol, 60% juice(lemon,grapefruit,orange)40% beer) some grapefruit smell came out with some rotten egg like smell. From glass it’s a nice grapefruit smell w/ a little wheat grass/ funky smell. Taste is a lot of grape fruit with a nice crisp refreashing lager beer taste from time to time. White 2 finger head that stays a little bit then all gone. Pale light yellowy? grapefuit ish look. Cheer’s.

From bottle at stubbies and Stein’s. Clear straw with visible carbonation fluffy white head. Aroma of candied grapefruit. Very floral. Thin body effevecent floral grapefruit with light tart character. Very drinkable and refreshing. Good summer brew.

While not something I would drink everyday, this is quite refreshing on this hot June day. It has a nice balance of sweet and tart with strong flavors of grapefruit, sulfur, and pale yellow fizz beer. Not bad.

Bottle. Well, what the hell is this? I had to come on here real fast to see what the alcohol content in this was, as I assumed it had to be next to nil. Seems that guess was right! So this is hardly a beer, this is basically the old soda Citra. I saw someone else recently on here compare it to Fresca...well, yea, this is a sweetened Fresca. Basically, if you ever eat grapefruit with a bit of sugar poured on top, you know precisely what this is. That’s really all there is to it...sweet, grapefruit goodness. I happen to love grapefruit which is why I’m usually drawn to hoppy beers. If you don’t like em, just don’t even bother. Sort of terrible as a beer, but I mean, I’d drink this over some Smirnoff mix drink crap! 2.5% abv.

Great grapefruit aroma, taste is more along the lines of cider... not terrible.. but barely a beer

Can. Very cloudy light yellow pour with a quickly dissipating, fizzy white head. Lots of grapefruit aromas, with orange and grain as well. Flavour starts sweet with subtle carbonation and a nice grapefruit underpinning, then becomes more tart and a little grainy, finally ending on a smooth, sweet, citrusy finish. Nicely balanced and very refreshing, but nothing amazing.

Good radler. Eady to drink on a hot day. Sometimes I like to add a shot tequila. Pretty tasty.

Pours a super hazy yellow color, similar to orange juice. No head. Smell is straight up grapefruit, and nothing else. Taste is basically what you’d expect from a grapefruit soda, though there is a mild malt flavor present. It’s actually really good, but definitely not something to drink if you want a regular beer. Makes me wish it were warmer out. First time I’ve said that this July. Refreshing!

On tap @ Darcy McGees Ottawa. Pours a very mild hazy yellow with a razor thin head. Notes are heavy grapefruit with mild sweetness. Taste is grapefruit and orange. Medium carbonation with a short tangy finish. This reminds me of a less sweet soda more than a beer. Would likely be quite nice on a hot summer afternoon. Only 2.5% abv.
