Bottle pour. Cloudy white-lemon in glass. One finger of head. Juicy nose, lots of grapefruit and OJ. Sweet. Taste is straight fruit juice. Big lemon and grapefruit showing. Active on the palate. Surprising that there is any alcohol in this. Mild aspartame on palate on finish.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2013 pours mildly cloudy opulent golden orange, almost no head, thin ringed retention, active streams along the perimeter. Bold, sweet and tangy grapefruit on the nose. Attack: fizzy, oncoming 8/10-fruity sweetness Mid-palate: light-med tart, juicy grapefruit, very mild smooth bitter malts, hints of bitter grapefruit peel Finish: burpy, clean sweet with a very light lingering grapefruity finish. Drinks much more like a soda than a beer. Not very complex but not intended to be. Quite drinkable but not exciting.

On tap in the skinny stiegl glass. Aroma is mostly the grapefruit and the taste is similar. Not overly complex and not a lot of grain or hop presence. Very straightforward and very good fruit beer. I would have again.

500ml can. Pours an opaque, white/yellow. Aroma is tart grapefruit, and some sugar sweetness. Taste is sweeter but with a solid taste of grapefruit. Medium body with a medium-full carbonation. A bit syrupy in the mouth but still refreshing. Overall exactly what I was expecting. Sweet grapefruit. Not bad if thatís what you are looking for.

Sampled at a craft beer bar - light in color and very carbonated. Tastes like a Sprite or Sierra Mist. You might as well be drinking a Sprite or Sierra Mist.

This is a very easy to drink fruit beer. It has distinct grapefruit smell and sweet grapefruit flavor w/slight yeast. Tastes very much like a grapefruit soda or lime-a-rita. Slight syrupy. No head with cloudy yellow color. 5.3 BD, 5 JD- its not a beer itís like a cocktail.

Can shared with norhtropfrye. Sunshiny appearance, fluffy head that doesnít last long, opaque. Tastes very grapefruity with a zippy palate. This is exactly the kind of thing I like.

500ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a very thin off-white head. Carbonated like a soda. Of all the "Radlers" Iíve had, this is without doubt the most palatable. Smells very good, like grapefruit soda, and Orangina. By scent alone, itís very difficult to recognize as a beer. Taste is sweet grapefruit, followed by a watery maltiness, with a nice bitter finish. I donít drink sodaís because theyíre much too sweet, but the 50/50 beer to soda ratio here is a nice change. Really easy drinking, and while I understand itís technically not a beer, it is a tasty product that I would definitely buy again. Thumbs up.

I know, I know, I shouldnít like this so much, but dammit , if this isnít the perfect summer brew, there isnít one. Aroma reminds me of the sour, grapefruit gummy candies. Flavor is slightly sweet grapefruit, with a refreshing blast of acidity to balance it all out. Sadly I confess, Iím going to be drinking more of these throughout the summer.
