Keg at Siren. It pours cloudy pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is soft, fresh, lemon, grapefruit, lilt and soft icing sugars. The taste is soft, juicy, grapefruit, pineapple chunks, lilt, white sugar and light tartness with a short finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Thankfully not artificial. Easy-going fruit juice action. Great radler.

Real grapefruit flavour, on tap and served in a skinny glass. Carbonation right there. Reminded me of orangina, graperuit edition - yes there was such a thing. Grapefruit aroma. Some lace and head. Significant aspartame in this "soft drink" cuts calories cut also taste. Little in way of a beer, BTW.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2013 11.2 oz green twist off bottle. This is a pleasant radler, one of the best out there. Can is better and best yet throw in some ice and a shot of gin. Absolutely killer

Bottle. "Contains not more than 3.2 percent of alcohol by weight". Cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Pleasant fresh grapefruit juice aroma. Sweetish and tart grapefruit flavor with a light bitterish citric note. Not very beer like, but very nice, clean and refreshing. A lot better than any other Radler/Shandy I’ve tried.

500 ml can. BB 03/01/2015. (Merkur) Seiersberg, Austria. Hazy greyish yellow colour with a tiny white head. Lemon, grapefruit and mild malt in the aroma. Quite natural lemon and grapefruit in the flavour with some mild sweetness, mild bitterness and notes of malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

11.2oz bottle, shared by Jay. Mildly hazy whitish yellow color. Thin white head, little loose lace. First impression: I like this way, way better than the lemon version. Grapefruit soda is much more interesting than lemon soda, it turns out. Less sweet overall, too. More of a tart taste, lightly zesty. Nice grapefruit and sugar aroma. Light to medium body. Crisp, lighter carbonation. Just a very light stickiness in the finish, I don’t mind it at all. Liked this way more than I expected to, especially considering how much I didn’t care for the lemon.

2014-12-04. Hazy pastel yellow body with a tiny white head. 3+ Aroma is pleasantly fruity, sweet grapefruit character. Flavour is similar, sweet grapefruit. Just tart enough to be refreshing, I’d prefer more so for my own tastes. Smooth average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Pretty nice. Simple but quite quaffable. Enjoyable. Can from the LCBO, Toronto

Can from the LCBO. Pours a hazy yellow-orange colour with a fast-fading white head. The aroma is pretty much solid grapefruit - it also has the authentic sharpness of grapefruit (in contrast to sodas like Fresca that purport to be grapefruit). I swore I’d never enjoy a Radler, but dammit, I kind of like this. It’s a whole lot more grapefruit than it is beer - but it’s tasty enough.
