COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The original Stieglbock is a powerful finely hopped and traditional Bockbier – the Berman term for strong beer – indicating a bottom-fermenting brew from barley malt. Brewed in August, the fermentation process lasts three months which produces a golden color beer with taste and strengths varying from year to year. This beer is perfect for beer lovers who prefer bold types of beer. 16.5 Plato

Bottle in a hotel in Bratislava, procured in Vienna. Pours clear, shiny gold with a fine, pure white foam head. The beer looks great. Sweet bread aroma, some cereal and sweet straw. Medium big sweet flavor, sugar, bread, cereal, metal, hay. Medium to big bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, faintly warm finish, some floral hops, metal, cereal. OK beer but not altogether pleasant.

Bought a six pack of this stuff one night in salzburg. I was hurting in the morning. Ok appearance- amber color with a slight beige head. Aroma is malt/cereal and grainy as was the taste. Mouthfeel was somewhat smooth but ended up harsh towards the end where th alc. was apparent. Slightly overcarbonated.

Pour is a honey looking yellow with a big white head. Aroma is weak but you get some malts in there. Flavor is mildly sweet and sticky malts. Its ok and easy to drink but that’s about it.

Clear light orange pour with a large lasting white head. Yeasty cotton candy aroma that implies a sweet beer to come. Really smells like a samiclaus or samael. Lemon meringue flavor that is not as sweet as I expected. A thin watery mouthfeel. Not the appropriate beer for sitting on the banks of the Ohio and watching the tugs, but it will do. A white grape flavor that is close to wine. This is too thin. I should have grabbed a slice of pizza at the joint I passed on my way here, this would be a decent food beer provided it was somewhat flavorful. Much better than the warsteiner I had with lunch. A lingering orange zest flavor with a watered down yeast note. Ap-4 ar-5 tas-6 pal-3 ov-12

Cidery pour with wispy white foam disappearing before it finds its resting place on the surface. Electric orange, honey aroma. Mouthfeel of substantial carbonation and pleasantly mealy malts. Citrus, honey, and kiwi come through on the semi-sticky finish. Refreshing, with a twang of sour.
