2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
08/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with tiny head. Malty and slightly lemony aroma, pretty weak, but fine enough. Flavor was empty, with some lemony and eggy (in not too bad way) notes, thin bodied and boring just as its follower, almost non-existent aftertaste. As Doggythedog said, nothing offensive, but dull.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
0.5l bottle found somewhere in Graz, shared with heavy. Poured a dull pale yellow-golden with a tiny white head that went away fast. Very light malty nose, bubblegum? Quite watery, light taste, very light, slightly eggy maltiness, with a light, a bit salty herbal hopiness. Not offensive, drinkable but utterly unimpressive.

Bottled. Pale yellow, small head. Spicy nose. Dryish and fairly crisp. Rather light bodied with spicy hops giving it a resiny touch. Long spicy bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle, labelled Stiftsbräu Schankbier. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Light and refreshing, pleasantly malty with some nice hoppy flavours. Strongly reminds me of a Czech 10° vycepni pivo.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, bought @ a SPAR in Vienna.
Pours pale golden with a small, creamy, white, film head. Aroma is sweet, malty, some brewing cereal and very light hoppiness. Okay mouthfeel, high carbonation, though a bit too light. Flavour is very mild, malty and soft flowery hoppiness.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
(Bottled) Golden color with a smallish, foamy and slightly lacy head. Sweetish, corny-malty aroma with slight acidity and cardboardy hops. Very lightly malty, sweetish and quite acidic flavor with mild German pils hopping in the background, and hints of honey. Light-bodied and quite watery, slightly fizzy-carbonated, acidic palate. Light and boring, a bit harshly acidic brew, that lacks in almost everything. In Sweden they brew several cheap lagers like this (in addition to the good ones :).

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank this next to the river in Vienna. Tasted like liquid bagel. Unimpressed. But it does call itself a Schankbier. Schanked it, baby.
