started out kinda boring and got better as it went. 1st Stillwater i’ve had that’s not some form of saison. this is a malt (and oat) forward amber. nice, if simple. lots of caramel and earth. little hop presence. the apple asserts itself just a little - at first as a non-decript sweetness that eventually makes the beer taste a little bit like a breakfast pastry. i’d have liked it to be a tiny bit more evident, but this was pretty good."

(bottle - 12 oz) Murky brown with a thin white head. Lightly sweet aroma. Slightly nutty and malty. Flavor is pretty much the same. Light sweet malts with a bit of a dry and bitter finish. Not that great honestly.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a murky medium amber with a thin broken white head. The flavour is medium to light bitter sweet with a fruity malt light alcoholic bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I’m on the fence with this one.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a beige head. Aroma is lots of caramel, floral, some yeast, raisin and vanilla. Taste is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Sticky texture. A bit odd but not to bad.

kramer (5034) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is toasty malt with a light fruitiness, caramel, and a little yeastiness. The flavor is malt driven with slightly sweet caramel and toasted malt. Some light apple notes on the finish mingling with a light yeastiness. Medium bodied with a fairly substantial malt base, nice smooth texture, soft gentle carbonation. Decent beer, not one that stands out in the Stillwater portfolio.

Pours a cloudy copper from the bottle with minimal wisp of off-white head. Aroma is slight caramel and bready grain. Taste is bready grain, corn, and slight yeast. Meh.

Almost zero aroma.deep amber in color. Taste is zesty, lightly hoppy, and of a weird malt. Drinkable, and enjoyable, but I wouldn’t search this one out.

12oz bottle 9/20/13 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in English Pint-Pours a murky amber with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and sweetness. Taste of the same with more sweetness on the back end. This medium bodied brew was rather tasty.
