Medium, yellowish head, quite even, over faintly veiled orange beer. Hops in the nose, but also something fish-y. Bit of lunaria, (non-sweet) stonafruit. Spicy, rootspices, restrained bitterness with both hoppy and spicy components. Aromatic flavour, nowhere exaggerated, finishing peppery, intriguing. Bit soapy, lavender. The myrrh tincture in my cabinet is pretty different, however. Spritzy carbonation, somewhat burning feel. Medium bodied at best. Interesting, different, not forced. Now what has the Tower of Babel to do with this beer? Mind you, my Hebrew is a tad rusty...

Really nice unique and spicy saison that is dry refreshing and crisp with lots of spicy peppery undertones. Enjoyable beer but at this price I probably wont buy again.

Pours gold into a snifter. White head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet herb aromas. Dry with caramel and hay upfront turning to a mild peppercorn finish.

Slightly fruity nose with pepper and hay, very herbal. taste is fairly dry, light honey and pear, fresh herbs and flowers. Fishes with a menthol-like szechuan peppercorn note. The peppercorn is obvious, without being obnoxious. Well done.

Draught at Mi & Ti, Milan
Cloudy golden color with creamy head. It has a strong and very nice aroma, spicy and with sweet oranges; fresh and fruity (8.5). Good body, also because of a moderate residual sweetness; malt flavor, delicate spices, light fruitiness (oranges and apricots), light astringency; fresh, balanced and with a good degree of complexity.

330ml bottle from OB, Sydney. A fine Saison style ale from Italy (with help from US) with a noticeable spicy presence (peppers mainly) on top of straw, citrus, grains and floral elements. Taste is quite bitter and earthy dry with a slick medium bodied palate and lively carbonation. Appears hazy amber with a large lingering white head that laces the glass nicely. On a par with Belgium’s finest.

Pepper and phenolic aroma. Pale gold with slight haze. Big white frothy head. Pepper dominates with lingering bitterness. Alcohol warmth present. Medium body with fizzy caronation on tongue - refreshing. One on the better farmhouse ales

Bottle from City Beer. Pours hazy yellow with a decent off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a mild fruity flavor with more hoppiness than usual and a tart finish.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is earthy/yeasty. Med body. Flavor is earthy with some phenolics. Interesting flavors that are difficult to parse. Drinks well.
