Pepper and phenolic aroma. Pale gold with slight haze. Big white frothy head. Pepper dominates with lingering bitterness. Alcohol warmth present. Medium body with fizzy caronation on tongue - refreshing. One on the better farmhouse ales

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Molto interessante questo esperimento di saison, itausa. Bel colore dorato carico, con schiuma compatta. Il maso è molto fruttato e invitante. In bocca decisamente di gran beva, pulita, equilibrata. Datemene un fusto grazie...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Saison molto particolare e interessante, con un ottimo equilibrio tra una componente quasi acidula e una decisamente più amara, arricchita da note di lievito e il pizzicorio aromatico del pepe. Piacevole e intrigante.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle from beer-shop.it served in a tulip glass. Lovely pale orange, slightly hazy, with an average off-white head which leave good lacing retention. Mesmerizing aroma, very hoppy and balsamic, with notes of bubblegum, blood orange, some resin/pine needles, fruity esters. Very pleasent smelling beer. But quite strange during the taste: I had no idea of the peppercorns addition, but I could already feel a light non alchoolic warming sensation down the throath. Nice bitterness, balanced sweetness, with a fruity and slightly yeasty aftertaste. The most strange saison ever tasted, but it works really well. Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation and creamy texture. Very refreshing and crisp!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Hazy deep golden colour with particles floating around in it, small white head. Aroma is apricot, tart wood, some herbal notes along with mild wood, spruce, nectar and some earth. Flavour is similar in a quite mellow way. OK, but nothing mindblowing.

arancione con schiuma candida a grana grosse. Aroama ricco di odori dolci incenso e arancio. aromi che ritornano nei sapori dove l’inizio è secco/amaro e poi si sparge il fruttato speziato. Birra equilibratissima

from Fork&Bottle - pours a hazy dark blond beer under a persistent white foam; charming peppery aroma with notes of roses and bretts; assertive and astringent, quite full-bodied and lively, a fair herbal bitterness; long gentle spicy notes and pretty aromatic with a lingering acidity - very good

Hoppy aroma, citrusy.

Bitterness and citrus in the aftertaste.
Not for me but I think a good example for the style.
