Sour ale-like which was thin and fairly funky.... another belgian to steer clear of. Not recommended.

Countbeer (6222) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2012
Bottle: Very very very big vast white head, changes slowly into a medium sized airy white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell wheat, yeast, hops, citrus, hint of orange, sharper tones like sharper grains and sharper plant ish tones, hint of resin and (sharper) herbs. Taste is smoother than expected with a mix of yeast, hops, citrus, lemon, dough, light bitter, floral, herbs, light sharp and something light wood ish. Not complex but still pretty deep. The bitterness tends to go to the bit more nasty side, but doesn’t get there. Aftertaste yeast, grass, citrus hoppy and herby. Low carbo, soft and lightly blown mouthfeel, good medium body and a light creamy texture. Decent beer, yeasty but decent yeasty.

A good saison, though it kind of smells like a domestic at first. Nice head otherwise, very yeasty with a complex grain/malt sweetness.

Bottle caged and Corked. Poured a cloudy amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy yeasty sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sour & sweet tingly finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Bottle, this ale had a orange-yellow pour with haze and particles from the sediment, and made a large fluffy white head, the glass had generous effervescence, this beer left sticky, clinging lace on the sides of the glass as it receded, there was a partial ring of brown sediment on the bottom of the bottle, the aromas were bread and toasted malt but it was different than your typical malt flavor, maybe a chewier or meatier malt aroma if that makes any sense, some wild, funk yeast, mild floral hops, a little bread and fruit sweetness with light honey in the background with some fruit and citrus, there were flavors of bread, dough and malt with mild spice, a little orange fruit, light orange and other fruit flavor in the background with fruit sweetness, the finish had spice, fruit citrus and sour bitterness with a little malt following, the mouth feel was less than medium and had lively carbonation, this drink had a nice nose and flavor.

Bottle - 375mL corked and caged. Pretty gold amber pour with a tall, fluffy white head. Aroma is strong dusty yeast, grains, grass notes, flowers and dried fruit. Taste is also big dusty yeast, grains, earthy notes, grass, straw, dried flowers, hints of unripe fruit and sweet malt. Body is light-medium with an extremely effervescent carbonation. Finishes with more yeast, earthy and floral notes, grains, malt, hints of fruit and straw.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a very large white head. Aroma was slightly funky, yeast, lots of citrus. Flavor was moderately bitter, woody, herbal, grassy, lots of citrus, grainy, moderately funky and yeasty. The hops added an odd element as far as I was concerned, but the yeasty, malty base was dead on. Medium mouthfeel.
