375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2-3 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, black pepper, clove, herbal, straw, grass, toast, bread, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, black pepper, clove, herbal, straw, grass, toast, bread, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of crisp peppery spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, pear, apple, black pepper, clove, hay, straw, grass, toast, bread, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a god bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent saison. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Nice beer! Pours yellow with a decently enduring head and minimal lacing. Nose is musty and barnyard, very prominent. Notes of old socks, some lemon, dough, fruit, biscuits. Taste is light sweet, light bitter, and light sour. Medium body with lively carbonation.

Appearance: hazy golden yellow, huge thick barely cream-white head. Tight bubbles Aroma: green apples, musty, horse blanket. This stuff is stellar in the nose; lots of funk with some soft light grain, almost a raw rye odor. Little bit of citrus, lemon rind almost Taste: equal parts musty, with some of that lemon peel in the flavor, and some light wheat note. Really shines through in its almost gueuze like tart finish, but this definitely has the grain spice of a saison Palate: pretty well carbonated. Definitely a pretty light beer but the carbonation aids the long dry finish. Seriously, this one has a long, dry finish Overall: great slightly tart saison. I can tell that the fact that this one has sat on the shelves a bit helped it. Great great beer and will definitely grab it again to share with folks

Enorme explosion au débouchage !! un véritable riot gun made in US … Couleur jaune, with the sun in the eyes …

Appearance: this is a beer that takes a while to pour down, it has a huge white dense head, the beer is a hazy light gold color, has particles floating in it too Aroma: funky, kind of sour, lemon, smells good Taste: a hint of sour, some sweetness, very light alcohol, lemon, light bitterness on the finish Palate: very smooth, average carbonation, light bitter aftertaste Overall: amazing farmhouse, I like how the alcohol isn't so strong, lots of subtle flavors ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, grass and hints of coriander. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, toast, coriander and a slightly spicy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

(bottle, 37.5cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big but diminishing frothy white head. Yeasty malty and wheaty aroma with notes of brioche, accompanied by slightly vinous fruity notes of citrus, grapes and pears. Moderately sweet and delicately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. A tad slim malt character with slightly sour wheaty and citric notes, backed by Belgian yeasty spices; a bit slim and sour-tart finish with notes of citrus, grapes and a delicately herbal hoppy touch. Okay, smells like Crémant but tastes like Prosecco frizzante. 01.III.14

(bottle - 375 ml) Gold pour with a fizzy white head. Strange aroma that’s not really inviting. Kind of dank and diapery. Flavor completely makes up for it however. Good dry yeast and tart notes with a sour and funky finish. Good carbonation.
