Lots of pressure behind the cork on this one. It almost popped itself off after removing the metal fastener. Pours with a gigantic white head that dissipates slowly.. It smells of hay and bread. Upon tasting it starts sweet with a slight grassy taste ending in light hop bitterness that lingers. Very earthy with lively carbonation. This is a great beer with complex, balanced flavors.

Too old, the green bottle has allowed skunkiness to set in even at a bar as diligent as RLRL. Hints of good stuff underneath so I’ll give a middling grade.

On tap at Hopcat. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty and wheat. Flavor follows but is subdued. Decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Stillwater / Hof Ten Dormaal ’Bronze Age’) Bottle 375 ml, corked and caged. Served into a teku at home, ABV 6% Opens with a loud pop and gushes. The pour is all a thick white foam with just a bit of beer underneath, should be the other way round. That little bit of beer, is clear and orange coloured. Aroma is grainy, some citrusy notes. Nice taste, less grains but still there, fruity notes, a nice touch of citrus, light yeast, some floral notes too. Medium body with good carbonation. Pretty good but that gushing ruined it for me.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, äpple, hö, gräs, örter, citrus, koriander, grön banan med toner av ladugård. Fruktig, frisk, lagom sötma, fin beska (dock något för mycket) med smak av citrus.

Semi-opaque gold, very strong white head. Farmyard, hay, and yet some noble hop as well. Medium bodied, malty notes with some sourness and yeast. Nice. I’d say some of the flavour is a bit Pilsner-ish, but in a good way.
