Poured from the 4-pack of bottles (says bottled 12/13/13) nice orangy gold, smells clean which is odd for a Belgian. Get the sweet up front and the dry at the end. This beer has everything I like about Belgian strong without the ass taste that I don’t, but usually get. Very well done and strong.

The beer pours a hazy golden with a medium white head, and the aroma blends citrus hops with light malts. The taste is mildly bitter, slightly umami, and slightly sweet with a strong hop flavor in addition to their bitterness. The aftertaste is a long-lasting version of the initial flavor. The texture is nearly oily, but the bubbly carbonation and light body help balance all the other elements into a very pleasant package.

12oz bottle from the dark recesses of my cellar, bottled 06/13. Pours orange gold with an off white bead that falls immediately. Aroma is yeast, orange, cardboard. Flavor is caramel, banana, citrus. This held up well.

Draught sample at CBC 2015. Slightly hazy, golden colour with a small, white head. Fruity aroma with spices, grass, banana, citrus fruits and yests - dough. Taste is lightly sweet. Full body with a pleasent carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with spicy and yeasty notes. Nice American-Belgian fusion.
