Lukaduke (1005) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Pours a golden color with a big rocky head that sticks around for most of the beers life in the glass. On the nose there is some nice malty fruit notes mixed with a bit of spicy Belgian booze... on the palate its bright and flavorful with good doses of citrus, pine and a good bitter quality on the finish... a little too boozy but a good beer for sure.

Bottle... Hazy, brilliant golden ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is fruity, herbal and a touch grassy. Medium-bodied with vibrant carbonation. The flavor is modestly bitter, offering fuzzy fruits and minerals. Crisp, lightly bitter, compact finish.

RABinVA (680) - Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy hay with a big, big head. Had to pour slowly, let it sit, then pour some more. Big pineapple aroma with a slight bit of yeast and a bit of an alcohol whiff. Taste is pineapple, piney hops, banana, yeast...and it all blends together beautifully. The alcohol burn doesn’t come through until everything else has started to fade on the palate, which takes awhile.

phaleslu (4430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2012
On tap at The Bridge. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a finger of soft bone white head. Subtle aroma, with lemon and grapefruit citrus, floral hops, sweet malts, candi sugar, and wheaty grains. The flavor picks things up a little, with notes of sweet and pale malts, lemon zest, herbs, candi sugar, bubble gum, and a little funk. Deceptively light on the palate, with a smooth, sweet mouthfeel and mild carbonation. No way did this seem like 9%.

Bottle. Clear dark golden with a fluffy white head. Strong apple, pear, apricot and allspice aroma and taste with banana notes and a bone dry finish and a bright and lively palate.
