Bottle from Champanes, this beer was bottled in late July of last year, so, this bottle has sat around for about six months, this ale had a hazy medium gold-yellow pour (that almost at the edge of orange, maybe a touch of orange color) and it gave a one to two finger white head of a presentation, the head lowered a bit but was lasting, the glass had lots of carbonation, and this beer left nice lacing on the sides of the glass, the bottle had a thin layer of medium brown sediment stuck to the bottom, this ale had aromas of orange fruit, nice fruit esters, some floral and faint spice, there was little malt and sugar sweetness in the background, there were flavors of faint malt (a touch of bread), some pear and orange like fruit, light hops and spice, and there was a little sweetness but not as much sweetness on the mouth as on the nose, the finish had a faint bitterness and pepper, this beer was creamy on the palate and had a light mouth feel with average carbonation, a nice belgian golden strong beer, it had a very nice nose and flavor, the alcohol was hidden well, a drink I would recommend trying.

Ouch.. Didnt expect such a nice performance from this one. Really nice, huge brew. Malt, hops and yeast makes great aroma/flavour combo. Refined with pleasant tropical fruitiness background, mostly pineapple, peach and mango, some good fitting spices. Mostly sweet with light bitterness,, bit fizzy. Liked this one. Must repeat

Nicely done! A perfect replica of a Belgian ale. Sweet, fruity, spicy, some floral notes, hints of citrus, all masking some high ABV, which is not at all evident in the taste (or aroma). I love it.

Heller, deutlich kräuterartiger Antrunk. Geringe Süße, etwas fruchtig. Zitrusnoten, weiter hefig mit Kräutern. Hell malzig, nun hopfiger werdend, leicht bitter. Rundes vollmundiges Bier, das den Alkoholgehalt nicht erahnen lässt. 11/10/11/10/9/10

Bottle @ Deans Winter Shelter Tasting, courtesy of dEnk. Pours a hazy blonde beer with a medium, off white head on top. Aroma is grainy and yeasty. Flavor is rather bitter, yeasty and light hoppy, citric. Short aftertaste. Not really an impressive beer.
