Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Hazy bright golden yellow, generous soft white head. Aroma brings loads of grassy meadowy hops, really nice. The palate follows true, with floral grassy hops afloat of austere crackery malts. Very very nice.

I am particularly enjoying this brew. It has a good character, not an overpowering alcohol taste, but really nice aroma to the palate. I am enjoying this 2013 beer in December 2013, so it has aged in the bottle.

Bottled: unk Pours a golden, diaphanous ale with a thick, three fingers of light cream. This falls slowly. Smells of hops, and strongly of fresh mint (never had this experience with hops, but I’ve heard tell of it). Hints of resin, skunk, Belgian yeast, earthy hay and soil. Flavor is exceptional: grain, measured bitterness, hints of grass and classy Belgian yeast character. Nicely balanced and tasty. Medium bodied with hi, sparkly carb, even a bit too high. Semi dry finish. A really fine beer. I questioned this brewery with its obscure labels and sudden appearance in my area, this is worth it. Serving type: bottle 09-14-2012

Aroma is strong citrus/spices and a hint of heat. The flavor is citrus/spices, fruit/berries, malts, grapefruit, a thick and almost pulpy body and a sour, almost milky, finish.

Look: golden - check, nice equal billowy white head - check, but it does descent very fast. Leaves a nice ring. Carbonation looks descent. There are some particles visible.

Smell: fruity, citrus zest, hint of mango, apple, yeast and there is definitely some funk. It’s also slightly spicy. Everything is very subtle yet well balanced.

Taste: again, very well balanced. Starts fruity then goes to sweet dry malty middle and into some funk and tart - very nice, saison like. Bitterness also well balanced, with a nice aftertaste. High alcohol is surprisingly well hidden.

Mouthfeel: nice, slightly spicy carbonation, medium, creamy, silky body. Goes down nice and smooth with medium dry finish.

Overall: Very easy fruity yet a very well balanced complex story with some funk and spicy notes to take it to another level.

Oh, and absolutely love the bottle label.
