3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2014 12oz longneck. Tattoo art meets Edward Scissorhands label. Half-cloudy blonde beer with hard little yeast-bergs that swirl around like it’s a beer snow globe. Fruity, semi-sweet, tangy, yeasty aroma. The aroma esters are plummy. Fresh, sweet grapefruit up front. Partially sweet, pleasantly sour, a wee bit astringent, some chemical/lemon cough drop notes. Finish is a little floral and kumquatty. Medium light body, light carbonation. ABV is well hidden. Interesting. ABC, Betton.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled July 2013. Nicely drawn label and a golden pour. Interesting aroma: lemon/citrus to start, with some yeast and honey-like sweetness later. Brett dominates the flavor, and there is some clove, lemon, and sugar also. The label says it is bold and hoppy, but I would not describe it that way. Good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle thanks to cagarvie
Pours light golden, thin head. Aroma - sour lemon meringue pie, elderflower and the perfume counter in a department store. I dont rate many beers. Taste - lemon zest, hoppy citrus tang, it’s a great beer. I can only imagine how good it would be fresh from the brewery

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Bit over-carbonated if anything. Aromas are bready yeast and lemon. I had this down as a saison, and not a 9% either. More yeast on the taste, good citric bitterness. Interesting.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Puffy lopsided bubble bath foamed head. Lovely plying lemon dusty yeast nose. Floral and flour. Lemon and crisp gem lettuce, chalky bitterness. Frothy and foamy mouthfeel, not loose of thin - very pushable. How this is 9% I’ve no idea - sub 5% if you’d quizzed me. Finishes tinselly white grapefruit.
