Poured a very deep garnet colour with nearly no head. Nose is slightly grassy. Not very saison like in the mouth and a thin, metallic palate.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma is great with lots of belgian banana notes and funky saison character. I really like this... The taste is some nice belgian notes, banana, malt, funky, with some hop character that really adds a good sort of bitterness. Love the finish! Delicious.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy, medium ruddy brown with a 1 finger, frothy beige head. Aroma is full of sharp bready, peppery yeast notes, some cereal, toast and spicy hops. Flavor is similarly very yeasty, tons of bready yeast, literally as strong as easting a chunk of rising bread dough or drinking beer from the fermenter near the end of primary fermentation, light toast, nut skins, roast, caramel and floral and spicy hops. Medium dry body with a light, blanketing and quite sharp carbonation. Ok overall, but the yeast was pretty overbearing, and in a raw yeast kinda way, not a fruity, spicy kinda way. Definitely not worth the price, I think I paid $10/6pk.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Where and how: bottle 750 ml @ tasting
Aroma medium intense. Crystal malts, caramel, sweet backing , mild tartness. Rather dry.
Top: off white creamy medium cap.
Base: hazy amber.
Palate : dry, thin bodied, with medium plus carbonation. Average finish.
Taste: dry, medium bolder approach. Caramel, slight fruity notes, cherry feel, that gets frisky on its carbonated body. Side tartness.
Other notes OK, nothing great.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours amber brown with a big head that persists. Tart aroma with some caramel and toffee. Somewhat fruity and sweet. I didn't fine it dry at all. And that's the problem. Sweet toffee and tart sourness just doesn't work for me. I love big carmelly beers. And I love sours. But not in the same glass. Overall good but not great.
