COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
starting with a base of German wheat & pale malts this crisp slightly hazy foundation was then accented with a blend of Sterling & Citra hops providing a intricate blend of herbal grass & tangerine citrus flavors and aroma. to pull this all together and to complete the ’cleansing’ aspect of my vision i gently finished the ale off with a touch of white sage, lending a mild earthy spice character to the blend. of course let’s not forget our house saison yeast that brought all the elements together leaving a dry yet intricate finish.

Pours a straw yellow with a white top. Sage and light barnyard funk on the nose along with apples and pale malts. Taste is light sweet with a good dose of fruity esters. Sage and hints of hay and grass in the back alonng with the light pungency of wheat. Feels close to medium on the palate, softly carbonated.

Tap @ CBC14-yellow. Beery golden colour. Spicy herbal nose, sage. Refreshing, dry. Wheat. Flavourful, but can’t really think of a style this fits into. Feels bit like a soda, gingery. But real nice.

Stillwater Cellar Door has a thick, spongy, white head, incredible lacing, and a fiercely bubbly, orange-gold, opaque appearance, with visible little brown specs settling at the bottom. The aroma is of so many herbs, peppers, and juices. Taste is the same, with some background wheat bread and some bitterness at the end of the sip. The mouthfeel is medium, prickly, and somewhat slick, and Stillwater Cellar Door finishes dry and rich. No alcohol is detected. RJT

Uma festa de aromas e sabores! Imagine a combinação de uma witbier bem condimentada com uma saison destacando as leveduras belgas. É ela.

Small festival glass, draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, first session. Clear golden. Low white head. Citrus, semi-dry, aroma. Herbal hops and lemon to the taste character added by a smooth touch of ginger. Drying fruit finish. Fine balanced. Easy to drink, thirst quencher. (02.05.2014).

Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium golden with a sticky snow white head that leaves a nice coat of lacing. Aroma has some nice coriander notes, a touch of yeast and a hint of clove. Flavor is robust with nice clove undertones, a touch of coriander and just a hint of banana fruitiness. Nice sticky, thick mouthfeel with just the right amount of spritz. Another solid entrant from Stillwater.

Really fresh, original and enticing aroma. Mint, herbal, toothpaste some lemon zest, citrus, floral notes and wet grass. A little lemonade influence, lager-shandy esque. Taste is even more perplexing. Lemon, yeast, ginger. Sage offers a herbal, earthy instigator. Palate very dry and there’s a glorius light spicy rising bitterness on the back-end. Ginger lingers on the palate. The beer looks and feels like a cleansing tool - due to its slick presentation and clean mouth-feel. A nice refreshing brew.

Tap at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, citrus, floral hop. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a citrus floral light spice, toothpaste mint palate and a short bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Lots going on and super refreshing.
