4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 GuamVice (44) - Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2012Poured from bottle. Aroma smells flowery and yeasty, very much like a tripel. Pours pale to almost deep gold with thick head and great retention. Taste starts off sweet and tart like a heffweizen, then starts to mellow and then finishes bitter like a pale ale. It also leaves a spicy lingering aftertaste. I'm very pleased with the nice blend of styles and taste. Palate is thicker, you can tell there is some wheat proteins in this. Cool name, cool art, very cool beer.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Slipstream (1776) - USA - MAY 17, 2013
I like those spooky Stillwater labels, but I haven’t been so crazy about their (expensive) beers lately. Big, rocky head. The aroma is strong, a little herbal, and a little unpleasant. Flavor is sharp, with lots of wheat, and the sage stands out. The finish is on the bitter, leafy side. Rustic & unusual, but not a real favorite.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 DoublEE (509) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Pours a light orange amber. Massive white head with medium sized bubbles. Pleasant aroma of yeast, citrus, sage. Nice flavor of wheat, light malt, coriander, light fruit (pear and apple). A slight hint of must. Sage adds a unique flavor and hop like dry kick in the finish. Light to medium bodied with nice carbonation for a pleasant mouth feel. Complex and very refreshing. I like this very much.

12oz bottle. Interesting witbier. Refreshing and light with a unique grassy taste that I assume is from the sage.
