starting with a base of German wheat & pale malts this crisp slightly hazy foundation was then accented with a blend of Sterling & Citra hops providing a intricate blend of herbal grass & tangerine citrus flavors and aroma. to pull this all together and to complete the ícleansingí aspect of my vision i gently finished the ale off with a touch of white sage, lending a mild earthy spice character to the blend. of course letís not forget our house saison yeast that brought all the elements together leaving a dry yet intricate finish.

Cask: Pours to a very cloudy yellow body with a small white head (as would be expected given itís on cask). Aroma is sweet sage, malt, candy. Flavor is half bitter and half light malt sweetness up front, leading to some grass, farmhouse flavors, typical yeasty/cereal/horse blanket saison flavors. Light-medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

355ml bottle. Hazed gold pout. Aroma is tart, herbal, and citrus. Flavor is herbal, some grassiness, bitterness, pretty dry. This is abrasive stuff. Not what im lookign for in the style. Rubbery finish.

On tap at Falling Rock Tap House in downtown Denver. An 8 ounce pour in a stemmed bulbous glass. A somewhat cloudy yellow amber beer with moderate white head and a pronounced sour fruity nose. Yassir! Big and complex fruits on hand here. Reminiscent of dried and candied peaches, apricots. Incredible! 4.

I must have liked it in 2013, but I donít recall much right now. I donít even recall if it was tap or bottle. Complete fail on my part.

In bottiglia da 35cl. Aroma di cereale, frumento, terroso, speziato, coriandolo, lievito. Al palato molto rustica, terrosa, frutta gialla, speziato e lievito che caratterizza parecchio la birra.

Tap. Cloudy orange-yellow . Thin white head. Floral notes dominate the aroma. Herbal. Very dry with a bit of rosemary, herb and flowers. Lots of bitter hops for a long finish. I love this beer.

Well first of all, the bottle says itís a farmhouse ale, so negative points for calling it something itís not. Otherwise, ití reeks of coriander and awful spices you find in your grandmotherís kitchen, and a little bit of french fry aroma. Itís got weird spicy, garden flavors and it all over the top and fake.
