12 oz can purchased as a single at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazy golden yellow with a rocky one inch egg white head that falls slowly with nice lacing. The aroma is lemon and apple fruit, hay, grass and bready malt. The taste is a pleasant combination of the fruit soft sweet notes, along with the general hay bread malt. There is an interesting tang to the finish which also dried it out considerably. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean dry finish. Interesting beer, quite easy to drink.

I would not have guessed this is a corn based beer. I got some grassy notes and some faint tangy notes, but no corn. I even got a little bit of lightly fruity flavors. Tasty, regardless.

Tasted from draft. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Aroma is belgian yeast and spicey funkiness. Some grains and grass notes. Flavor is similar to aroma. Very smooth and clean. Nice funky belgian spices and yeast flavors with banana, lemon and grains. Medium bodied. Sessionable summer beer. Pretty good saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium fizzy white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, pine and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, piney hops and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity yeast and floral hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

(can - 12 oz) Orange pour with a white head. Spicy and peppery hop aroma. Very floral and peppery hops at the start but then turns slightly sweet and tangy from what tastes like some Belgian yeast. Lightly spiced and bitter at the finish.

Can pour. Pours a hazy yellow with a cloudy white head to it. Fruity aroma. Flavor is light citrus fruit flavors with a little pepper spice to it. Fruit and spice flavor finish. Solid beer overall. Enjoyed this one.

From can. Cloudy yellow with soapy white head. Soapy, lemony and slightly banana aroma. Tastes like a fancy PBR, sweetness from corn and rice with a good showing of Pilsner malt. Some grassy hops. Overall a very good summer thirst quencher. It's fairly carbonated so it helps cleans your mouth out if you've been working outside. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

As this is my first official rating one should probably hold back a little praise for the next ale. However I must say I thoroughly enjoy all Stillwater beers. This was purchased from my local, Saint John Craft Beer, in a can. Poured well, good head retention. Left me with a lovely sour refreshing finish. Consumed whilst prepping Sunday Lunch with a friend so I did not have to give it too much focus, because friends are important too are they not?

Can: The aroma is rather light and consists of light fruit, grass, and lemon peel. It pours a hazy dull yellow with a three finger soapy head that has pretty good retention before fading to a very thin ring. There’s a good amount of clumpy lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a slight hint of citrus with some faint bready notes. The finish has light grass with a touch of lemon peel. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, an okay summer thirst quencher. Why is this listed as Specialty Grain?

Can pours clear straw yellow. Nose of flowers, grass, hop spice. Taste has bitterness upfront, light flowers undulate. Finish is dry.
