[Tap] Light orange in color with a slight haze to it. Nice pillow of white foam head. Lemon zest, lime and light yeast/funky nose. Light breads, corn flakes, lemongrass and light spiciness. I realized that I wrote ’light’ many times in this review, and that pretty much sums it up. It’s all right. Tasting notes from 1/2014.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2014 Can from Mane Liquor. Gets perfect appearance caus the can looks epic. Nose is full of sweet Belgian yeast, banana, mango and mild grass. It’s like a hop loaded Belgian ale. Loads if mango and banana with heavy zest and Belgian yeast. A touch biscuity with mild herbal notes and lemony bitterness. Goes down an absolute treat. So clean and refreshing. I can see it possibly getting a touch sweet but works well as something other than an IPA in a can. Tasty beverage.... the more and more I have this, the more I like it. My go-to can

can. Golden yellow with one finger head. Dry with citrus, particularly lemon. Slight funk and a bit of a hoppy bite. Light, but with excellent flavor.

Pours yellow with a quickly fading head. Nose shows some Belgian yeast, some farmhouse funky notes, soft vegetal hints and banana. Some of the Belgian and farmhouse notes remain as flavours along with a corn note and apple characters. Carbonation is a bit excessive.

Super cloudy pale straw yellow with a few inches bright white head. Very creamy aroma, floral hops, pepper, sour lager and Belgian yeasts too. Lively carbonation, thin mouthfeel, crisp dry finish. Belgian yeasts in the taste, leaning more peppery, grapefruit and/or citrus rind too, lots of lemon. Refreshing, citrusy Belgian that’s light. Definitely a keeper.

Can. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of lime leaf, lemon pudding, hay. Light bodied, high carbonation. Sweet hay, lots of zesty citrus, some leaves and pepper. Quenching dry finish.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2014 [Draft] Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toast, honey, corn and grains. Taste of toast, grains, toffee malts, lemon, and lightly bitter. Nice, crisp, and simple.

Can. Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Yeasty, sweet malty, cereal aromas. Sweet bread, cracker malty flavors. Slight dry, bitter finish. Good, light saison.

12 oz. can from the Bier Cellar, Portland ME. Lightly hazy yellow with a ridiculous amount of carbonation. Aroma is very subtle yeast and weak floral notes.

Flavor is much like the aroma, subtle. Weak pilsner malt, fruit notes, corn and light citrus pith. Rustic grains, pretty good. The mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Easy to drink for sure. I just did a side by side comparison with Allagash Saison. For me this is a distant second.

Draft at Hot and Soul in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Pours a golden hazy yellow with a medium white head. Lacing throughout. Great aroma of lemon, lemongrass, grass, cereal and biscuits. Taste is similar with notes of lemon, flowers, and wet grasses. Light body, easy to drink. Finish is floral and citrus with a hint of funk.
