3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy pale yellow with a giant white head that sticks around for ever. So fizzy it looks like the bubbles are constantly refueling the head. Aromas are very Belgian yeast with earthy and fruity notes, but with some odd cheap lager too. Flavor is fairly similar, but with stronger earthy flavors and less of that cheap lager smell. Here there is a touch of bitter hops as well. Very interesting beer, I don’t like RB’s ’Specialty Grain’ category but beats me where you’d put it instead. Saison? I’d love to try the brett version of this.

Can from 99 Bottles (Federal Way, WA). Big fresh yeast nose, light esters, zesty citrus fruit. Hazy light straw color, very thick tall rocky white head. Light bitter fruit, clean malt, some yeast, light honey. Thin body. Very nice, refreshing, session stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can (12 oz). Clear yellow with a huge frothy/bubbly white head and good lacing. Aroma of cereals, pils malt, light spiciness and lemony notes. Taste is also of grains, pils malt, floral notes, light spiciness and a lemony touch. Light body. Lively carbonation. Crisp and clean mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Drinkable and refreshing. Well done!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Stillwater Classique has a very thick, foamy, off-white head, a hazy, bubbly, yellow appearance, and a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is of pungent, sweet, zesty, spiced bread, and the flavor is the same, with low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Stillwater Classique finishes semi-dry, refreshing, easy going, and highly drinkable. No better or worse than any other farmhouse ale I have had. Good stuff, though. RJT

Pour is pale yellow, transparent with a creamy white head. Nose is super floral, loads of hop and nice clean grain to balance. Taste is so easy to drink, lots of floral hops and nice smooth grain bill. High carb, tight, dry. Excellent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hazy dull yellow with large white head. Smells a tad bit of barnyard, corn, a bit of spices. Taste is a slight hop bitter with a slightly grainy with some sort of spice, maybe coriander, corn like flavor, a very faint caramel malt sweetness. Pretty good drinking beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours pale yellow wit a big, sudsy white head. The beer has a distinct lemony character throughout ... from a sweet aroma, to it’s sweet starchy flavors. I respect the art of it, but not my thing. (#5431, 2/7/2014)
