3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Pre-prohibition? Really had a funkiness not unlike a Saison. Otherwise, a little herbal with a touch of honey. Appearance: Slightly cloudy light gold with a foamy white head. Flavor: Matches the nose. Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Quite good, but kinda wondering if I was drinking the right beer.

Nice, especially for something with rice and corn. Nice bitter hay feel. Golden pour. Bitter finish. Well rounded, good balance. Tap at RFD.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at the Stillwater event at dig bar. A slightly cloudy straw gold pour with a big foamy head that leaves behind good lacing. Fruity funky saison yeast notes in the nose. Zesty soft carbonation, ascerbic mouth puckeringly bitter, saison spice, some citrus & a dry bitter finish. At first I got some metallic notes but the second time around not so much. Solid.
Served in an aroma glass at Rome temperature. It has a more grassy spicy aroma with the classic saison nose. A light zesty body with an ascerbic mouthfeel, mild metallic notes, spices, quite tasty stuff. Lots of flavor for the low ABV. This beer grew on me.

12 oz can. Canned(?) date stamped on the bottom of August(?) 2013.
Pours pale golden-yellow; hazy; very good head.
Aroma: banana, bubblegum, green tomato ... there’s more, and in total it is much nicer than this mix sounds.
Flavor: some Belgian notes; like nose; no musk or funk.
Feel: very clean, especially for style
O: Another excellent canned beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from mane liquor. Nose is quite floral with light toffee malts, zesty lemon and Belgium yeast. Taste is super clean - nice Belgium yeast coming through with floral hops. Hints of lemon zest. Sessionable saison straight from the can! Good stuff!

12oz can picked up at the COOP a month back.. pours clear straw golden.. white head with flecks in the pillow.
Big phenolic bubblegum and minor clove and peppercorn.. white wheat.. green apple esters.
Flavor is nicely done with the lower ABV... clovey phenols and grassy/lemon hops mesh a fermented out pale malt essence..
big carbonation.. still pretty drinkable... The low ABV is special, I would like to see this more often in the coolers.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[Tap] Light orange in color with a slight haze to it. Nice pillow of white foam head. Lemon zest, lime and light yeast/funky nose. Light breads, corn flakes, lemongrass and light spiciness. I realized that I wrote ’light’ many times in this review, and that pretty much sums it up. It’s all right. Tasting notes from 1/2014.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2014 Can from Mane Liquor. Gets perfect appearance caus the can looks epic. Nose is full of sweet Belgian yeast, banana, mango and mild grass. It’s like a hop loaded Belgian ale. Loads if mango and banana with heavy zest and Belgian yeast. A touch biscuity with mild herbal notes and lemony bitterness. Goes down an absolute treat. So clean and refreshing. I can see it possibly getting a touch sweet but works well as something other than an IPA in a can. Tasty beverage

can. Golden yellow with one finger head. Dry with citrus, particularly lemon. Slight funk and a bit of a hoppy bite. Light, but with excellent flavor.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours yellow with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows some Belgian yeast, some farmhouse funky notes, soft vegetal hints and banana.
Some of the Belgian and farmhouse notes remain as flavours along with a corn note and apple characters.
Carbonation is a bit excessive.
