3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
10/20/13. 12oz can from Beach Liquors in Fort Walton Beach. I know that heykevin and MaxxDaddy drink this stuff like sorority girls going to town at the best fraternity’s big party, so I had to get it. Lightly hazy golden pour with a huge, thick, tight off-white head that lasts and laces well. I thought this was just an adjunct lager, but first whiff proves me wrong. What a nice surprise! Mild Brett - light funk, fruity, a hint of a tire aspect, bits of tropical fruits and bubblegum, light citrus. Mild bitterness, really light flavor, bubblegum and fruitiness abound. Tasty stuff.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
The session beer to end all session beers? I could drink ten of these. A subtle brett quality all the way through giving you a classic bubble gum citrus pear aroma and flavor coupled with fresh grain and earthy hops. Currently my favorite session ale in a can at a stupidly affordable price.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2013 Canned brew consumed from can via pepsican courtesy toss. This beer benches. Tight pear skin fruit. Bitter herbal wet grass. Quite complex aroma is has a gritty earthy rustic grass quality. But reps some neat soft foggy hay. Pear skin. Lotta carbonation offered. Nicely dried out. Complex rustic hoppy light Belgian ale brew. Chuggable. Iso more of this brew. Ft stLinc@e.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is lovely - soft and spicy with a lean malt dryness. A bit of peppery character and a bit of light fruitiness. Zesty and a bit flinty. Nice and dry with some lingering bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2013 Can. I like Stillwater’s beers and had a feeling what I was getting into when I saw the yellow cans. It drinks kinda like a slightly funky domestic grocery store beer. Not bad but far from a favorite.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a can with a huge thick foamy head. The aroma is fantastic. The flavor is slightly sour/tart and very light with a mildly bitter finish. It’s a pretty good session beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly cloudy golden coloured body with a rich, dense, three to four centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of very light hops, hay, grass, herbs and a bit of sugar. Light-bodied; Sharp light malt flavour with cardboard and grain with very little else on the body, just a big dose of strong hops, hay, grass and a bit of wheat. Aftertaste shows just the hops, grass and hay with a touch of sugar at the tail end. Overall, a very interesting beer - smells great, and the first few tastes are good, but then you realise there is no body and no depth at all. Still, not a bad beer, but just not amazing - great to sample and neat to try this based on the malt profile. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon (not even local to me/brewery) on 27-September-2013 for US$2.38 sampled at home in Washington on 07-October-2013.
