3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a lightly hazy golden with a large foamy white head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of spicy saison yeast, lots of citrusy hop notes some floral and tropical fruits. Smells like a hoppy saison. Flavor of honey, corn, very dry, some bubblegum and spicy saison notes. The citrusy hop notes as there but not as prominent as they are in the nose.

Nice, especially for something with rice and corn. Nice bitter hay feel. Golden pour. Bitter finish. Well rounded, good balance. Tap at RFD.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark-hued straw yellow body with a large creamy white head. Nose is Belgian ale yeast, white sugar, bubble gum, maize and hints of straw. Taste is straw, bitter herbs, Belgian estery sugar-ish tones and hints of pale malts, maize and hints of floral honey notes. Medium to light body, medium to high carbonation. Donít really know what to expect from this beer, but it was rather fresh and drinkable, regardless.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Develís place. Actually it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers. From a can this says its made from rice and corn, was expecting a pale lager thing but no. Smells like plain old beer but thatís as far as it goes. Light as lemonade but not too cloudy. Big foamy head. Not a whole lotta co2 in there and Iím surprised about that. Taste is fairly mild at first but then the personality kicks in. Gets a little rude at the end, Finish is more rude than expected considering the commencement.

12oz can. Looks light. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale malts, light corn/rice notes, and dough. Flavor the same with a nice amount of hops. Average to light texture. Not a bad beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can @ The BeerMongers... Poured pale, hazy yellow with a thick forming, frothy white head. This was a nice drinking lager. Sort of drying, but ultimately very refreshing with a prominent yeast spice character in the finish. Some husky, grainy, maybe rice-like tones, but clean. Low bitterness on this one too and with 4.5% it is a great session.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours light pale yellow with a sturdy white head. The aroma has fruity Belgian traits, mild sweetness, grapes, apricot, bubblegum and light funk. Light crisp refreshing body with a bit of lively carbonation. The flavor starts with mild maltiness, apriocots/peaches, spice, earth, bugs and some cellar must. The finish has lots of pepperiness, brett-like bugginess and a thrist quenching snappiness. It would be real easy to drink a lot of these & at 4.5% I canít do it without running into trouble quickly. Another winner from Stillwater. Love that this is now in 6 pack cans instead of the everything being in bombers.
