Can. Pours slightly hazy golden with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is full of spice and some sweetness (from the corn?). Taste brings black pepper, a light hoppiness, some malt support and even a light tang. Wow, a lot going on in here. Average palate with some spritzy carbonation. Finish is grainy and lightly bitter. As someone who loves Premium I thought this would come up way short. It doesn’t quite match up to Premium, but this is still very good. So glad I can grab this by the six-pack.

Pours a pale golden straw color with three fingers of pillowy white foam that sicks nicely. The nose is rustic yeast, citrus, peppery spice and a bit of sourdough bread. The palate is bright and refreshing with good balance between rustic grain malts and dusty lemon must, straw, a hint of bubblegum sweetness lingers into a grassy bitter finish.

Nearly clear, pale yellow-gold with a 2 finger, fluffy white head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is mostly yeast, stone fruit and floral, citrus and fruity hops some very light cereal grain notes. Flavor is floral and grainy up front followed by slightly funky, fruity and spicy yeast, nice citrus, floral and passion fruity hops, a little pepper and mineral notes. Light body with a neutral feel and light, but blanketing and sharp carbonation and off dry finish. Good stuff, but the malt side is pretty lacking, the yeast and hops make up for it well enough, though. I am not really sure what makes this a Specialty Grain style beer, but it is a nice, light and flavorful hoppy Saison.

12-oz can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a loose sudsy whitish head. Nose comes on like a saison for sure, with mild candied lemon notes hidden in sweet grass. Creamy medium body with very lively carb. Corn, grass, and sweet cream mid palate. Unlike those other beers, and the better for it.

On tap @ Congregation Long Beach. Hazy golden pour with a tall white head. Aroma is sweet, biscuit malt. Dough, lemon zest, white pepper, and yeast. Nice spicy and floral hops, as well. Flavor is mildly sweet with some biscuit and dough notes. A touch of apple, some lemon, and white pepper. Floral hops, yeast, and a dry finish.
