Can. Pours very light pale hazy yellow with a billowy white head. Aroma is a touch gummy with wheat, some light citrus and hints of spice coming through. A touch peppery and lemony. Flavor starts with a bursting citrus character, quite hoppier than expected but it a good way, giving way to the lighter spice and doughy notes in a clean crisp finish. Light to medium body and a crisp carbonation. Excellent "americanized" version of the style without being all hops.

A hazed yellow beer with a thick receding frothy white head. In aroma, pleasant grassy malt, no corn, light Brett, herbaceous hops, very nice and saison like. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light silky character, grassy hops, very nice, and well maintained in the can after 2 years. 2.99 a can in Brooklyn.

Very old world, dry and bitter flavor. Floral and old-world tasting, but still very light and simple. Quite good. Very deep but not heavy at all.

Can. Hazy gold appearance; turbid. Grainy, hoppy nose, with some lemongrass, hay and flint. Soft but active carbonation, goes down crazy easy. Great anytime beer.

I found this too be a disappointing saison. It was very dry and peppery without any hints of lemon, botanical, or breadiness. The typical saison bubblegum / banana flavors were very muted on this one as well.

Craft Islington. Keg. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crisp and semi dry. Light pale malts and light floralness. Herby streak. Mild tangy dried fruits. Little ester. Everything about this says Saison. Light crisp finish brings a little tangy orange peel. Not bad.

can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly clear light amber, full bubbly 2" white head, strips of lace. Taste is malt with maybe a touch of corn, followed by hops on the swallow. Hops continue mildly through a medium finish. A nice light brew, but don’t make too much of it.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2014 Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours clear gold with a medium white. The nose is fresh, floral, lemon peel, grapefruit, juicy, straw and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, peppery, lemon peel, grapefruit rind, floral, spice and some minerals with a dry, citrussy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Refreshingly refreshing.

I’d call this a Belgian blonde or maybe a saison or something. It’s cloudy yellow with a fairly long lasting head of white foam. Its nose is quite yeasty, floral with some lemon zest which implies tartness. This is light but creamy on the palate and this texture brings out a banana note from the yeast. This is a light and refreshing but full flavored beer that finishes with some lingering fruit and earthy bitterness. If you like light hoppy Belgian beers, this will be right up your alley, really a great beer.
