COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s my pleasure to present a collaboration with The Brewer’s Art. A Baltimore institution that helped to pioneer the Belgian beer movement in the States. Brewed with a combination of Spelt & Rye, accented with a blend of Heather, Honeysuckle, and Hyssop. The result is a rustic farmhouse ale displaying earthy tones & floral characteristics while maintaining intricate balance.

NOTE: This is a different beer than the version brewed at Brewer’s Art.

12oz picked up at 5 points bottle shop. Pours a hazed golden orange with thin white head. Smell is sweet spicy malty, esters of clove and light banana. Taste is is more clove and banana with the carbonation really pulling the flavors through nicely with some biscuity malt.

12oz bottle from Marinos in Toledo. Orange pour with visible carbonation and an off - white head. Aroma of banana, sweet bread and spice. Tastes earthy, tropical fruit, honey, hay, yeasty, light pepper, floral, saison-y. Ends up easy drinking overall though I couldn’t place it within the style for lack of experience. 7.2

Short white head over a clowdy golden beer. Nice aroma from ripe pears and a tuch of belgian phenols. Dry and fruity taste.

@ Eddan 14-8-30: en ganska rakt fram trevlig farmhouse ale med fin balans. Mjuk smak, lite belgojäst ... Gott. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

12 oz bottle. Complex floral and herbal flavor is more appealing than the rather yeasty/funky aroma. Medium-full body with good carbonation.

Tap. Somewhat hazy orange pour with a small spotty white head. Floral aroma. Slight spiciness. A little fuller in the palate than a saison, but still fairly light. Subtle, and pretty good.

Bottle @ home. Pours hazy orange with a huge frothy head. Sweet and somewhat funky aroma with apricots, bubblegum, sweet candy, bread, hay, some caramel. Dry taste with some tartness. Notes of wet hay, wheat, bubblegum. Finishes with pepper , gum, grass and a moderate bitterness.
