Bottle... Poured deep, dark, near black with a mild forming off-white head. This was a great drinking dark saison. Light mouthfeel and not too heavy for the higher abv. Some good malted sweetness with a dab of malt, even after over six months on the bottle some green hop character which worked well with yeast spicing here. Dark sugars and candied tones with a clean, drinkable finish. Pretty nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep brown color with a tan head. The color is odd, for a saison. Or maybe that’s just my take on things. The smell is mostly earthy and deeply roasted malts. A bit bready too. Taste is interesting. I pick up lots of leather, some damp earth, lots of the malt that was present in the aroma, a touch of toffee/caramel sweetness, and an odd bitterness that is definitely not from hops; almost like burnt coffee. My first Stillwater beer that I don’t absolutely love.

Clearish dark brown with an amber highlight under a thick pillowy light beige head. Nose is dark and kinda bitter with syrupy molasses, toast, earthiness, and a touch of juniper. Flavor is rich with semi-bitter earthy toffee, a touch of molasses, and a funny dusty hop tone on the finish. Like a hoppy Belgian dubbel or funky American hoppy brown.

Sabor campestre menos adocicado que de outras representantes do estilo, amargor gredoso surge como diferencial, mais amarga que já provei, drinkability, portanto, mais baixa, interessante cerveja 120 s

Belgisk gær duft. Banan.
Mørkebrun som cola.
Rund, sød, let ristet, rørsukker, halvtør, let syrlig eftersmag. Ok belgisk fyr, men springer ikke rammerne.
