Existent represents the philosophy behind Stillwater Artisanal. We strive to define ourselves through our passion and sincerity while accepting that not all aspects of life are readily explainable. To manifest this ideology we present an ale of intrigue. Deep & dark though deceptively dry, braced by a firm yet smooth bitterness and accented with an earthy hop and mild roast aroma. This is an ale for you to define..

’and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.’ –Nietzsche

Note: Formerly brewed at Dog, now at Two Roads.

Bottled@Man In The Moon, Stockholm. More or less black colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild roast, rather hoppy as well as some earthy and mild sourish notes. Flavour is roasted malts, quite rich on the hops as well as the floral notes. Something like Black IPA meets a Saison....

ACBF. Very dark brown - black beer. Small tan head. Light dry palate. A little dark malt and coffee. Trace of licquorish spice before the now familar chalky dryness from this brewer kicks in. Flavour is good but really struggling with the palate again - just strips every last drop of moisture in your mouth away!
