Belgium yeast flavors & aroma, it almost seemed like a Belgium stout to me. Mildly hopped. This was a decent beer, but for the 10 bucks I paid (750ml), it should be better than that.

Bottle into Tulip. Dark Brown Amber pour with a thin light khaki head. Nose is dark fruit with some yeast. Taste is slightly smoky, deep fig, dark malts, some hay. Full bodied. Medium carbonation. Not too shabby.

Bottle pours deep amber, active cream color head. Dark fruits, toast, and slight flowers. Body is slick and creamy.

Dark brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, coffee, yeast, spice and fruit.

12oz bottle - odd to see a negative image of Nietzsche on the label. pours dark brown with khaki head and decent lacing. Nose is hay and makes me think of a Baltic porter. Flavor adds metal, caramel, some sort of roast and a something else that is bitter. Sweet and confusingly bitter. It is so tempting to talk about reevaluating values for the purposes of selling a f&%$ing beer.

Tap @ CBC 2013. The pour’s deep brown with a small head. The nose is toasted grain, funky farmhouse yeast. Generally faint, weak nose. The taste is mashed red berry. Fart. Light citric tang. Belgian yeast sweetness. Bready finish. Medium body, sooth. Overall, merely fine.

Dark brown color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of smoky malt, yeast, floral/fruit, molasses, & spice; Flavor of slight roasted malt, yeast, hops, caramel, some dark chocolate, fruit, and spice; Dry finish; Overall, just decent for me.

had from bottle .. . murky brown .. medium foam .. . muddled yeast and soil .. . not very good, a rare miss from stillwater .. . . the bite of conscience. the bite of conscience, like the bite of a dog into a stone, is a stupidity.

CBC. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, dark fruit, yeasty and moderate hoppy - spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 030513
