Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy glops. Cedar and funk aromas. Dry with sweet bready hay and lemony citrus upfront turning to cedar, resin and bandaid in the medium length finish.

Pours hazy, bubbly golden with a very frothy eggshell head. Aroma offers sour fruit, woody hops and crisp malt notes. Flavor presents strong sour apple, citrus, evergreen hops and slightly sweet malt, adding up to a truly drinkable beer. More wild ale than IPA, it has average body, lively fizz, and a bit of cedar in the finish. If you can catch this one, G13 whiz!

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, papaya, gooseberry, peppercorn, pine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, musty funk, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, papaya, gooseberry, peppercorn, pine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, musty funk, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity tartness, pine/herbal bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, papaya, gooseberry, peppercorn, pine, hay, straw, musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness; increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly grainy/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an excellent Brett IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus/tropical hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink for the ABV. I did not get any cedar flavors out of this at all, but it really wasn’t a deal breaker; a very enjoyable offering regardless.

Light golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is light, vaguely grassy hops. Flavor is light, crisp citrus hops with some grassy notes. Very light touch on the sour end, just gives it tart finish. Very dry as well.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white top. Citrus, cedar and some funky, wild-yeasty notes on the nose. Hints of grass as well. Flavor is well balanced, light bitter and light sour. Notes of apples, grapes and citrus. The brett is really well integrated into the flavors, and not out of place in any way. Medium body and just above avg co2 levles makes for a crisp mouthfeel and a pleasant, light fruity and dry finish.

Pours a light orange. Big tropical notes and lots of tropical fruit here. Slight sweet malt. Hoppy. Good stuff.

Bottle shared at Beermongers. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big fresh citrus nose, wood. The beer is mostly sweet clean citrus notes, but a big funky body as well, white wine, cedar is there mostly just a bit of perfume. Very nice. Lemon tartness.

Bottle from WF in DC. Pours cloudy straw, some head and some lacing. Nose is fruity and yeast. Flavours of barnyard, lemon, peach, epsome salts. TAste light sweet, light bitter, some tart. Light body, could be described as soft, or silky, light carbonation. Very interesting.

A hazed golden ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light lemongrass, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice smooth fruity malt with light ground cherry, light Brett, light lactic notes, light spices, very nice and complex. Bottle at the Big Deck tasting 2016.
