(bottle) pours a very murky amber-brown colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy herbal hops, with lots of pepper, tangerines, light caramel and candis sugar. flavour is mostly the same, herbal hops still dominant, with a hint of sweetness and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels. Pours a slightly hazy light orange body with a massive cloudy white head. Nose is peppery yeast tones, citric peel, grapes and hints of farmhouse tones, hay and wet grass. Taste is citrus and wet grass up front, then banana-like esters with clove and hay dominate mid-palate. Sweet yeasty ending with candi sugars and hints of grains and floral touches. Medium body and a bit too high carbonation, which comes across as slightly stinging rather than a motor for the aroma and flavor. Still, quite refreshing for its high ABV.

(Bottled@HBF 2013) Hazy golden, large head. Grainy malt in the nose with stuffy lactic-acidic and vegetable notes, and not much fruitiness. Fortunately the flavor does carry lots of fruitiness, with some sour brett notes, but also acidity, pungent hoppiness, and even alcohol. Medium to full body, soft CO2. A somewhat unclean and stuffy, even acidic brew, with a not very pleasant hop profile.

Bottled@HBF2013. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, mild alcohol, wood and some quite fruity and spicy notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, toffeeish and mildly spicy with also some sugary sweetness.

Mashy husky aroma. Heady. Earthy husky taste. Not boozy, in fact it covers the alcohol well. Very dull, but well crafted. Soft, not too sweet.

330 ml bottle @ HBF2013. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet dried fruits, grass and floral notes. Flavour of strong spices, caramel, grassy hops, hay amd alcohol. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Good.

Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Aroma of spices, fruity malts, yeast and hops. Taste is sweetish caramely with notes of spices, yeast and fruits. Finish is sweetish and spicy with some caramel and yeasty notes. Decent, quite fruity Belgian ale.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2013) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sourness and spices. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spices, sourness, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. Very saison-like brew. Tasty and good.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2 (thanks Brad) poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw, apple, pineapple and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, apple and light spice with a smooth dy lingering fruity finish.

Sparkling, very talkative, clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramlel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, finish flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, bread, yeasty, spicy, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130112]
