Fra flaske hos Mike på Lervig: Aroma og smak av billig, tynn rødvin. Kan det ha vært noe feil? Definitely not my cup of tea, men så er jeg da heller ikke en svoren brett-fan.

Keg in CBC. Opaque black, very dark brown, tan head. Nose is sour yeast, roast malt, chocolate. Taste is sour, tart Brett yeast, with roasted malt, touch of coffee. It’s a sour meets a porter. Never convinced by these hybrid beers.

Bottle poured at Proletariat during the Stillwater event with streets, Andy, max, Zdk and pearl. Pours a deep chocolate brown with dark lacing. Aroma is bready and bretty, sweet dark fruit - and lots of it. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet dark fruit, light sweet roast, caramel, spice and bready malts.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of sweet licorice, red berries, chocolate, light vinegar, light apples and raw sugar. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of red berries, light lemons and fruity brett. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nice, balanced stuff.

Draft at Mikkeller Bar, Black Sensation. Opaque black with a creamy light brownish head with good retention. Nose has very fruity, almost berry-like accents with spicy components that reminds of bubblegum as it has a light tart note. Very creamy texture, extremely well balanced mouthfeel, sweet, fruity, dark, smooth and bitter. Might be the best beer I had at Black Celebration.

Draft. A black beer iwth a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller bar. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel notes, coffee notes and notrs of brett.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph. Completely black with a small creamy, beige head. Aroma is roasted, has funk, dark chocolate. Low carbonation, lovely dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, dry funk, roasted, raisins, elegant... Very well balanced.

Draught at CBC. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate and bretty notes.

Draft @ CBC 2012. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate aroma with bretty hints. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with bretty acidi hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate and bretty finish.
